Quick question before I pin and weld

Tomorrow I am having my 18" barrel Tavor pinned/welded with a muzzle brake.

 

The barrel is threaded and it has an inoperable bayonet lug (wings shaved off).

 

After replacing the flash hider with a muzzle brake, and pinning/welding it onto the threaded barrel, will it finally be gtg according to the state of NJ?

Yes I believe you'll be gtg as long as you have a </=15 rnd mag

There is no factual answer to your question. In terms of modifications and such, it is a grey area in NJ gun laws.

 

IMO, as well as others, yes you will be good to go.

Well baring other illegal features, the barrel will be good to go.  What about the stock, is it fixed?  The mags, are they 15 rds or less?

pinned or fixed stock is the only other compliance item i can think of that was not mentioned above....because apparently if you can adjust the shoulder thingy, your one dangerous mofo

Just to be safe i would grind off the whole bayonet lug not just the wings. I got some back with just the wings off and i ground down the whole lug because i put a bayonet on it and it stayed on it. It was operable. Which is cool but. The judicial system might not find it as cool as i did. Just my 2 sense worth.
