The 9mm seems to be "147 grains." Is that OK? I'm used to 115-124 grains on 9mm.

Yes, I was actually reading about how 147gr bullets are supposed to work best in our shields

I use 147 grain in my shield. No problems.

147gr bullets is all I shoot in my 9mm's that includes Glock and 1911's and FNH. I don't buy Federal but compared to 115's they are a bit easier on recoil.

I like 147gr in 9mm.  Some guns run better with it.  115gr is cheap target ammo usually.

Agree with all the love for 147 gr. All my 9mm's love it.

I normally shoot 124's but have loaded 147's for bowling pin shoots.  Worked fine.

 

Truth told I can't hardly tell the difference.  I'd have to really experiment and shoot both at the same session to see if I could notice any difference.
