That's great you can bring out your vintage items for a day to use them and meet new people.  These are casual fun matches and everyone has a good time. I've been a member for many years and I can't think of many things that are more fun than this. The Shoot Chairman is very knowledgeable about history, and runs the event while talking in an entertaining manner.

See Event List Update Below. The Shoot Chairman has declared that he "Did not eliminate anything but added two more events because of participant suggestions. Cabanatuan event remains 8 shots rifle at 100 yards in 2 minutes followed by 7 shots at 25 yards with a 1911, 2 minutes. NEXT year it will be 16 rounds with M1 garand in 2 minutes followed by 14 rounds in 2 minutes with the pistol to make the event more exciting and make it less of a bullseye event. Thompson/Reising event was added as a number of the regular participants want to justify their purchases. Gung Ho event will require more physical agility and may not appeal to the over half century crowd. 8 shots in one minute from the prone at 100 yards, 8 shots kneeling at 75 yards, one minute, 8 shots at 50 yards in one minute off hand, followed by 6 shots at 25 yards from a 1911 or M1917 pistol in 1 minute."

Lenin, Stalin, Mao and Kim II Sung are all gone. Castro is on his way out. The Cold War is over and former Communist Block countries are moving from Marx to MasterCard. Many Combloc weapons has found their way into the free world as captured trophies while others have been shipped here, as those once enslaved by Communism have that Capitalism can be rewarding.
