maintenanceguy 509 Posted November 25, 2015 I'm considering purchasing a North American Arms Hogleg. It's the 6" barreled version of the Earl line. Available with two cylinders and can convert from .22LR to .22Mag. I like the look of the gun and have shot NAA mini-revolvers and liked the quality. I haven't ever seen one of these in a shop so I'm assuming it will have to be ordered which means I probably won't get to handle one before I order one. I'm wondering about the size. The NAA mini revolvers were very mini. I'm happy with small but would like to get more than 1 finger on the grip. The grip style of the hogleg is different than the NAA mini revolvers and looks from the photos to be larger but I'm not sure it is. Anybody have one of these? How does it compare in size to the mini-revolvers? Can I get two solid fingers on the grip?

winmag45 14 Posted December 31, 2015 I just picked up a PUG and I love it.Steve at Monmouth Arms special ordered the set that comes with both cylinders. If you order the spare cylinder later you have to send the gun back to get timed. As for the one your looking at the frame size doesn't look much bigger then the derringers. It looks like the grip is oversized. You might wanna try YOU TUBE I saw a bunch of NAA videos there.Somebody might be comparing one.Or maybe call NAA.Good Luck!
