I'm not into those plastic handguns but that work really looks great -- would love to see some of his 1911 work

 

And post pics of the ARs...

Funny you should say that. I.have one.there that should be done in the next couple weeks. .All refit fusion frame.and a while.list of.parts. I.have a 45 and a 400 CorBon barrel.

I didn't get any copies either.  We did however spend a lot of time discussing my AK74......hopefully something special brewing.  However, it won't be NJ compliant under the current plan so off to FL when it's complete.

The photos are crappy. The gun looks amazing. I love TiN coating. This has a pyramid trigger which great but not worth the money IMHO.

Yeah he's a first time Dad so he's a just a bit discombobulated.  He also may be busy working on my custom 1911 and my AK pistol and my Glock 40 and my GP100.

He just had his first kid about three weeks ago so it's chaos, if you shoot him an email to [email protected] I'm sure he'll respond relatively quickly.

ah that explains it. thanks guys. i was in his spot not long ago so i know whats hes going through. ill give him some time to catch up hes prob backlogged with everything.

How durable are these finishes? Do you have to baby the gun once it's done or are they tough?

 

I don't, there probably scratch just like the original finish.  However, I've had cerakoted guns for a while, I don't baby my guns and I haven't noticed anything in particular.  Hope this helps.  If you want to handle one come on by GFH and you can check one out yourself.

Unlike anodizing or bluing the cerakote in my experience is exceptionally durable, it's meant to protect the surface and from constant impact it seems to hold up very well.

There are a few torture test videos that show it can stand up to it, but it's not a duty rifle by any stretch of the imagination.
