Fish Fry every Friday at the Elks - Hightstown

Recommended Posts

As some of you know (or maybe none of you who can recall), I do a bit of cooking at the Hightstown Elks Lodge every Friday night during Lent.  We also do a breakfast, which is quite decent for the price, although those are more of a monthly thing on Sundays.

Friday Night Fish Fry:  Fried Flounder, Fried Shrimp, Fresh Salmon, Choice of pasta sauces (Marinara or White Clam), French Fries (you get the gist here)

Salad, rolls, soda and coffee, deserts, all included.

Vets eat free, all the time.  The rest of you pay $8 or $12 for Salmon steak.  Full bar available, but drinks are pretty cheap.

Food made with love by yours truly (and a crew of volunteers).  Food served 6pm-8pm fridays

___________

Vets breakfast - again, all Vets eat free and all proceeds go to local vet orgs.  I'll have to check the dates.

Made to order eggs, bacon, sausages, home fries, and all the trimmings...about the same price.  Food served about 8am to Noon.

Stop in and tell the guy at the door that Rick sent you.  He might try to charge you double for that, but a swift kick will smooth things over.

The Elks are a non-profit organization that spends all proceeds on vets causes, local child reading causes, and generally emptying Rick's wallet causes.
