Time flies.

I can't tell you how many times I went to call him after something fucked up happened at work, forgetting for a second he was gone....

I miss Pat more than most of my family members that have passed.

Any of you guys going to the "Friends of Pat" get together in Ohio this August? I'm all signed up and got my hotel squared away.

Ty, I'm pretty sure Romper is going.

I was just talking to him yesterday about some other gun stuff and forgot to ask.  I'm still undecided as my daughter's birthday is the 15th but due to schedules, we may not be able to celebrate on the 15th and may have to delay which is more/less what happened to me last year.

Ty, you missed a good time.

I caught up with Romper, we were in a few training evolutions together. Awesome dude and a hell of a shooter.

On Saturday I participated in some excellent training and spent time with 200 Americans living the dream. Ernest Langdon, Jared Reston, Forge Tactical, LMS, Freddie Blish (ROBAR), and many others gave classes on everything from mindset to CQB under NODs and thermals in a shoot house.

Sunday was a BBQ sponsored by one of the trainers. Mission BBQ catered it again and man was it good. Following the feast there was a raffle and auction (My god some of the prizes were insane - BCM rifle, a couple of Beretta pistols, a 5 day course at Gunsite, TNVC Night Fighter classes, tons of gear from helmets to armor to ammo) that raised over $14000 for the Marine Corps Heritage fund and the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

Looking forward to next year.

Don't rub salt in the wound, man!  I've missed so many classes this year due to scheduling conflicts and was really hoping I could make it to FoP this year but family needs had to come first.  I meant to ask you to give Romp shit on my behalf for literally driving an entire cloverleaf because an exit was missed on the way to Alliance

HE, what’s the word on EAG Tactical nowadays?  I see they are running classes in St. Augustine.  Just wondering how it would compare with Pat’s old courses.  Thanks.

I went to last year’s Alumni class in St. Augustine. I’m trying to make this year’s class - but it’s next weekend and it doesn’t look good.

Brain Canova is a solid guy and his classes would make Pat proud. He’s a hell of an instructor and does a great job of balancing between making EAG his, but still living up to Pat’s legacy.

I recommend his classes without hesitation.

If Florida is too far, he comes to West Virginia a couple times of year as well.
