NRA Endorses Donald Trump For POTUS

What to say!!

I know it doesn't matter much but the same kind of folk who vote for tRump voted for oBlamer. They think there will be this mysterious CHANGE the second they pull the lever. I hate to say it THEY are low educated and tRump knows it and plays to them. If anyone did any research on tRump they would know he is as liberal as Clinton. There was only one republican who fought for our 2nd amendment while tRump was for the assault weapons ban his entire life and tRumpsters made fun of him and called him a liar!

So when or if conservative don't vote for tRump don't run and Blame the cons blame the tRumpsters for refusing to do the research and living off soundbites.

If you don't think tRump, Carson, Christie or Giuliani and the rest of his anti-gun followers will cave to the left on guns you are delusional! Remember tRump now says what he says are only suggestions and he will compromise!

I am so mad/depressed/ashamed of those who vote in this country I could just throw my hands up.

I know exactly how you feel. Enjoy the new supreme court and the reversal of the 2A as an individual right. I bet you Clinton sends her OWN case there in the first year of her presidency. It is her top priority.

And people wonder why 1 million Jersey gun owners can't make any progress. Told ya so.

Lived in NJ most of my life, collected signatures for Whitman when John Lotts report came out, remember she promised to overturn the Florio gun ban, collected signatures and was there when they were left in the rain for the auto ins. debacle.

I mentioned in another thread NJ residents are special when it comes to taking it in the rear! I had a friend from childhood I just last Aug told to leave my house here in NC and lose my number. He's called a hundred times, Oh well. He lives in Nj and refuses to even join the NRA, still votes for anyone wiling to give him free stuff and he's not poor. Just retired on $70,000.00 plus a year. Another has an FFL at the Jersey Shore and has been great to me with really great deals but voted for ole Bill Clinton and thinks oBlamer is the best.

So I gave up on these type folks and left. So I hear the frustration, NJ gun owners if they would get off their butt could do a whole lot. But as I said they are special. Not all still have a very good friends who I visit yearly and some come here regularly.

If Trump was smart he would adopt Bernie's approach to guns to gain some votes but most of the Berners just want free college and stuff anyway.

Frank I agree with you on many points - Christie, Carson, Giuliani, all RINO's and all would push for 10 rd cap - NICS on ammo sales, no private transfers, etc (CCW to any of those guys LOL - Trump would probably take Cuomo as Attorney General "we did many great deals together and I like his family" and we'd have a nationwide SAFE act to appease Newtown CT)  - they probably would push for a national firearms license like a drivers license.

Is Trump going to go against all of their beliefs and tell them he feels differently or is he going to call his cabinet to make a big beautiful deal that's good for everyone?  Similar to some of the police in this state (IMO) who if given the question of whether normal citizens should be able to get a CCW because its their right would tell you heck no they shouldn't because it would put their lives in danger on more opportunities, when 44+ other states have those situations daily and their police would not complain.

The problem is Trump is trying to appeal to moderates already, and will have to move more and more left in order to take votes from Crooked Criminal Clinton, IMO - he's already told the Berners they are welcome, and they are socialists.  Yet he has the R next to his name which used to be the party of conserving the individual rights of the Constitution and limited government and 10th Amendment states rights.

This is my dilemma and what keeps me skeptical - his NRA speech was great but I'd like to see it on a national debate stage and actually call Hillary out for cities with crime and no gun rights as she supports those -

However, the media is already swept up in making history so lets be honest any debate between HRC and Trump will basically be called every morning news cycle "another bigoted attack on women by Trump" -

Just my 50cents, I'm more of a Libertarian than a Republican nowadays (although I don't agree with the LP platform on open borders at all) and most likely would pull the lever for Trump, but to me its very sad - as I said it in 2008 and in 2012 that "there's no way they can give us a 'lesser of 2 evils' " choice anymore, and yet they did it again.  A 60+ year liberal who now wears the R tag vs a 60+ year socialist -

I just hope I'm wrong and that HRC doesn't have the last laugh (or Obama if he pulls her and goes to Uncle Joe, which I think can still happen by the end of the month if she doesn't diffuse the Bernie situation and he rides on to the convention with his angry supporters or about 40%+ of the Dem base) - I hope Trump proves a lot of us wrong.

As you mentioned I am more scared now that Trump has said many times he don't need conservatives yet offers his hand to the Bernie crowd. Makes one go hummm?

Looks like tRump''s not even president yet and he's Compromising already. This didn't take long!

yeah, this isn't going to end well for us. we have clinton who has all her cards on the table and openly wants to abolish the 2nd amendment, and then we have trump, who i genuinely believe respects 2A but is wired to be a deal-maker. i can see him doing something like agreeing to a weapons ban if it furthers some other agenda of his, like building a wall. either way, we're fucked.

Listen to you your own words! You know for certain you and the 2nd Amendment are indeed fucked if Hillary wins!

You also believe Trump is a deal maker and might make some deal even though he has staunchly defended our 2A rights. His entire family is pro 2A and are avid shooters, collectors and hunters.

Yet you say we are fucked either way?  Go ahead, vote for a 3rd party or Clinton. Same thing!  At least you know for certain you WILL loose your 2A rights.

You want to keep your guns? Vote Trump and stop with the psycho babble bullshit!

You sir are delusional. tRump has NEVER EVER been a staunch defender of the 2nd amendment, NEVER! He has been for an assault weapons ban his entire life UNTIL he decided to con all the RINO'S.

While Cruz was arguing for our 2nd amendment rights in front of the SCOTUS tRump was rallying for an assault weapons ban.

So do some research and stop you psycho babble. Oh and his kids have been  registered D's and like tRump supported Booburg and DeBlassio! Hell they didn't even vote for ole daddy because they didn't know D's couldn't vote for him in NY.

The alternative to Trump is?

Well thanks to the tRump voters who REFUSED to do any research on him we have two choices bad and worse. They do exactly what he poster above did blab BS that just isn't true!

Again most will be voting for the lesser of two evils. If we keep COMPROMISING the entire country will have gun laws like NJ.

Bingo! There is no point crying for another candidate...there is none. Sorry you don't like Trump, he is far from perfect, but with Hillary YOU WILL LOSE YOUR FIREARMS.

Thank you for voting for who you consider the lesser of the two evils.

I cannot stand those that refuse to vote because they hate Trump. Vote in protest to keep Hillary out.

Yesterday, I attended Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays in Coplay, PA for the first time! I went with @Mrs.Zeke to their NRA Women on Target event - more on that later. I feel very grateful to have attended (and, again, thanks to @Ms. 12 Gauge for letting me know about the event!) Here's my feedback:
Sporting Clays: Yikes, what a fun shooting sport!!  If you don't know anything about it, you are moving through a course and at each station there's clays being thrown different ways (varying direction, speed, even a type called a rabbit that rolls along the ground). It's challenging. And for even more challenge, they have 3 defined courses there - beginner, intermediate and advanced. So think of it like a golf course - each station is like a hole - they even have gas-powered golf carts you can rent, or little scooters (I think those are free) and little wheelie carts (also free). The operation is year-round.
LVSC: I haven't been to other sporting clays ranges, so I can't compare per se, but I can say this one was really "atmospheric" - and as a lover of all things Victorian, it was just my cup of tea.  It's set in a long-abandoned 1800's quarry operation. So, the old, roofless, dilapidated buildings have been taken over by trees and undergrowth - but they still hold a unique beauty (the great masonry, old arched window frames, etc. - it was like some of those photos from urban explorers who enter abandoned sites). It must look amazing in fall or after a fresh snow! Even better, one station we were at is located right over water (presumably, the old quarry pit). So, you're standing on this little covered deck, looking out across a sparkling body of water, with cliffs opposite you, trees above that and a perfect blue sky up above. Wow. Hey, did I mention it's a GREAT-LOOKING place? (LOL) Much of the course, blessedly, was in shade. And all the little stations have roofs so you've always got a little spot of shade on a hot day. The main building where you sign in was large, nicely air-conditioned (helpful yesterday of all days), well-appointed, kind of a rustic hunting lodge vibe, but very modern and clean, too (including a nice clean ladies room with the de-lead soap, etc.) The staff were all very friendly - and our instructor, Bob Broderick, was fantastic! I recommend him highly. A lot of things "clicked" for me yesterday in terms of understanding the process - that's the power of a good instructor! Here's their website: https://www.lvsclays.com/
NRA Women on Target: The NRA and their partner ranges really do a great job on these events! They are designed to attract women to the shooting sports, so they're quite literally giving stuff away. This deal was so slammin' - it was impossible to pass up! FIFTY BUCKS covered the entire afternoon program. They initially had us in a room  for about an hour where we filled out paperwork and had some classroom instruction about safety, etc. We then picked up the included cold drinks, eye and ear pro, plus a loaner shotgun and instructor for each group... our little sub-group had 4 women and 2 golf carts (carts also included!!)… and we were on the course for a good 2 hours at least... with each one of us getting one-on-one attention and guidance from the instructor at each station (that alone was worth more than 50 bucks!!). Afterwards, we returned to the same room where they had snacks, more ice-cold beverages, certificates and "swag bags" which, best of all, included a coupon for 10% off of a private lesson (expires end of this year).  I have no idea what that would package would cost normally, but looking at the website, I'm guessing at least 125 or more each?
So, if you haven't been to LVSC yet, I urge you to check it out! It's LOTS of fun. I know CNJFO is doing a fundraiser there this month - I'm sure you'd have a fantastic time AND you'd be contributing to the 2A cause at the same time. So, I'll add that link here:
In addition, I plan to get on the email list for their NRA Women on Target events (apparently, LVSC sponsors about 3 a year). Though I can't go again (it's for sporting clays first-timers only), I intend to advertise them in the future under our "events" section... so you can all pass the word to women shooters you know. Believe me, anyone who went would enjoy it. All the ladies who went yesterday (I'd say it was about 15-20) had a real blast!

For me the only one that really hurts is Delta/United since they only game in town for the NY/NJ area. Maybe Metlife and Chubb too.

      President Trump:
"What many people don’t understand, or don’t want to understand, is that Wayne, Chris and the folks who work so hard at the @NRA are Great People and Great American Patriots. They love our Country and will do the right thing. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
