CNJFO To Hold Fundraiser at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays Wednesday July 20th

This is our fourth Social Event since our incorporation just one short year ago this month, and it's off to a great start!  Here's the details planned thus far:

 

We have a FUN day planned starting with shooter registration at 8:45 am during which a complete continental breakfast will be served.  Featuring bagels & muffins w/ butter, jellies & cream cheese, a fresh fruit tray, coffee, tea & hot chocolate.  Bottled water is provided all day.  Immediately after Breakfast the Range Safety Officer at LVSC will go over the Safety Rules and make sure that everyone submits a signed "hold harmless" waiver (needed to use the facilities).  No shot size larger than 7.5, Eyes and Ears are mandatory!  Observe common sense safety rules, no muzzle sweeping, ask for assistance from your Squad Leader if you have a question.

 

The customized package includes a full 100-Bird Round of Sporting Clays utilizing all 17 Stations along the course, golf cart rental (four shooters per cart, one cart per foursome--a Squad), a delicious catered BBQ Lunch of Cheeseburgers and Pulled Pork, salad, cold drinks, cookies & brownies for dessert, hot tea & coffee.  During Registration and BOTH catered meals you'll be able to purchase raffle prize tickets, mingle, kibitz, etc., enjoying the opportunity to speak with our Sponsors (who are given tables to display their wares since the catering hall is ours for the entire day).  At our BBQ Lunch we'll also be drawing our Sponsor-provided raffle prizes!  

 

This Fundraiser is open to kids 12 & up with a parent or guardian shooting with them.  Women are strongly encouraged to participate.  This is being run as a "Beginner-Friendly" Event which means even those without previous shooting experience will be allowed to have FUN with us!  A brief Safety Lecture is provided by LVSC Staff to all those that have never shot Sporting Clays before, and new shooters will be assigned to a Squad Leader with extensive experience (per LVSC Rules).  Rental shotguns (if needed) should be prearranged with the office and ammo can be purchased on site for most popular gauges.  Loaner safety glasses are available at the office, along with complimentary disposable ear protection.

 

REGISTRATION:  $160 per shooter (includes customized 8-color silk-screened LVSC logo'd Event T-Shirt, specify size when registering).

Rosey, I hope you have good weather for this event, I so wanted to go! I only get one day a year to race in front of all those people, and that is never a given, have to qualify first, so I don't want to miss it. Let me know about the next Lehigh trip, maybe in the fall?

Mike, thanks for writing.  I will let you know.  We can't plan a fall trip yet because we need a decent showing for next month's trip to get folks used to the format.  You're not the only person asking about a fall excursion, lol!  Good luck on the racing!
