That's our plan. We'll keep an eye out for others.

Hey louu, if I can get out of work at a decent hour then I'll meet you there.

I don't think it's gonna happen bud, looks like only 19 tickets sold so far and only four days left.

I'm talking about the one in May's Landing.

Oh, Mays Landing....That's way south for me. Someone had mentioned meeting at Author's Steak House which is more my neck of the woods.

Which Arthur's?

Not looking to crash in on your dinner if you weren't intending it to be a general "NJGF meet" thing.

Dino71 - I assume we're talking about the Arthur's in Morris Plains.

Yes, Morris Plains. I don't mind sharing a table and talking guns, but Arthurs' only seats full parties. How about whoever wants to do a njgf table meets at 6:00?

Manny thanks for hosting the event!

I was at the NB showing and had a good time.

I assume you were the guy checking our tickets and names to your list. I almost forgot today was the showing and grabbed my ticket like 45 min before showtime.

Yup that was me. I'm just glad everything worked out even with the isis threat level elevated. Something I only kept between me and the LEOs that came. There were a lot of guns in that room.

My girlfriend was more then slightly worried something would go down but I assured her there was multiple pistols being carried in the theater.

Movie was ridiculous, in a good way. Rocco described it best. It's like that bad smell but you aren't satisfied smelling it once, you need to keep sniffing it over and over. Thank you everyone who made this movie possible and to all veterans thank you for your service.

Did you guys have an after party in new Brunswick?

I'm a new owner and I've been researching ranges around Camden County to western Burlington.  There's 2 standout things I've learned: there's a range coming to Cinnaminson in the spring (Legacy Indoor Range and armory), Hague's is currently offering free range time.  My Hague's research tells me they're expensive.  But I'm guessing that even at $30 box, with free range time, I can go just to shoot 1 or 2 boxes and fare well on expenses.  So has anyone been to Hague's recently?  What do they get for a box of 50 9mm or .38 special?.
The Hague's free time is posted on the their facebook page:
Update: I went to Hague's this afternoon with my son.  I paid $30 for box of 50 .38 special and $10 per box of 12 gauge slugs.  The range was cold but usable without a hat or gloves.  The targets at 5 yards were a little dark, past that they were reasonably lit. The staff was friendly.  Overall, we are happy with our visit. Even though ammo would have been cheaper else, range time would have cost $40, so we saved $30 to $35. This was a worthwhile visit.  With the free range time, I will definitely go back.

I had a great experience with a local gun shop in South Jersey, The Gun Rack. I've been looking for a SX3 shotgun and called around the last few weeks. They answered all my questions and volunteered the best price I could find anywhere. When I showed up this am they gave me their full attention for almost an hour, showing me how to take apart and assemble the gun until I was comfortable despite two customers waiting in line. They had a good amount of gun and ammo inventory and were open to bs about anything and let me handle a few guns.

First impression; great prices, great inventory, great customer service, mediocre knowledge about gun laws and details at the level I like to discuss. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend you give them a try if you need something now that A&A is gone. They are more of a hunter-centric shop but still had a great experience and would give them my business again.
