Hello from Monmouth County

Hey guys, I'm new here. I just got approved for my FID and handgun permits yesterday, gonna try to pick them up tomorrow morning. Process only took about 2 months for me.

 

Anyway, I've been shopping around for my first gun and so far I've been leaning towards a Springfield Armory 1911 Range Officer in 9mm. Can't really decide between the normal 5" and the Operator 5" model. Anyone have any insight on this as my first?

Wow. you live in Holmdel and they had only a 2 month processing turn around time. thats pretty good. i heard Holmdel can be rough on wait time.
