I had an MSAR and sold it but of all the bull pups I found it most comfortable to handle. I've always a wanted an AUG and when one popped up at the LGS I grabbed it. I haven't shot it yet but I'm sure it won't disappoint. If ever in NE Florida come by and see us NJGF guys, there's more than a few, and play with it, or anything else, till your hearts content.

Well I'm glad you got because I know it's being well cared for. It sucks that MSAR shut that down they were really easy to handle bull pups. I ended up buying a Tavor afterward and then ditched it because I thought it was ok on the ergos not great. That's why when I saw a real AUG that takes P-mags I grabbed it.

Look at the 2020 sear for the AUG. Makes the trigger feel like a Geissele SSA. Sooooo nice!

I don't have much different AR trigger experience beside an older Bushmaster, and alg combat I put on an AR build, but I will say it runs a bit heavy @ 7-8 pounds. It has very little uptake,short reset, and no mush. For range play and social work I think it would be fine, but isn't conducive to longer precision work.

 

It did not come with LRBHO, but I bought on on gunbroker @$30 and it was a 10 second plug and play install.

 

I've run the stock Ares pencil barrel upper, Bushmaster and Noveske upper on it and the swap is Easy and the fit has no slop.

 

It reminds me a little of a Ruger Ranch as far as weight and pointability, if that helps.

 

So far approx 700 rounds through it no issues. I am curious how long the return spring in the stock will last.

 

 

 

I'd like to hear more on how you like it, and the pluses and defecien ones you have noted?

 

Have they improved the trigger any? I hears they were working on it and that is one reason I was waiting - that and the LRBHO feature that was supposed to be added.

I just got a Howa Mini action M1500 in .223 from Cabela's for $330 out the door. I figured if they ban the AR's, I will need something in bolt action

to shoot .223s with. At $349 - $20 if you join the Cabela's Club by opening a credit card with them, It was the lowest price I could find anywhere

on a .223 rifle with great reviews.

 

Now to find a scope. Thinking about a Nikon P-223 3-9x40 BDC 600.  Any suggestions welcomed.
