Budasac 13 Posted July 11, 2016 Connecticut only accepts Connecticut permits. But a CT permit should be easy to obtain. You just need a permit from ANY other state.
varna 9 Posted July 15, 2016 How can you go about finding/scheduling a class that is approved for the Florida permit? As stated above for Florida you need a "live fire" certificate. If you have a NJ hunters license all you need to satisfy this requirement is a copy of your cert when you passed the NJ hunters course. That's all I used and mine was dated 1972. Got my local police to print me with the forms included in the packet sent to my home. Sent 2 passport photos and a check. It was very easy to do myself and didn't have to pay a middle man for assistance. Of course if you would prefer to go to a class to get your permit then have at it. Just letting you know it is not necessary.
sroc112 24 Posted July 15, 2016 I appreciate that, but I do not have a hunting license.
Budasac 13 Posted July 15, 2016 I appreciate that, but I do not have a hunting license.NRA basic pistol course should satisfy the requirement.
