"Thin blue line" of Painter's tape shows support for law enforcement

Pre-edit: I don't watch TV news (sorry, Jim!), so as usual, am probably late to the party on this.

A good idea for those who'd rather show support than simply grit their teeth. A local business got the idea of using the 3M blue painter's tape to make a blue stripe across the back window of cars and trucks to show the people's support for law enforcement.

I don't recommend it. Just makes you a target now

That is a risk I am willing to take.  While they are not exactly close buddies, I have several friends who are LEO and they risk far more to protect our communities than I am risking by having a bit of blue tape on my car.

It'll be pretty funny when y'all get a ticket for obstructing your view while driving

Put the tape at the top or bottom of the windows where it does not obstruct the view..

While I love the idea I would not put the tape on my truck because the BLM savages are cowards and they would fuck with my truck when I'm not around.

However I do wear quite a few shirts to offend them, fists at the ready. But like I said they are cowards and when I look them straight in the eye they look straight at the ground.

My township was selling magnets to help out some association the police have. Not sure which one. I bought a few of em. I went up to a wedding in Camden county and stayed at a hotel on cooper river. Some a$$hole stole the magnet.

Put mine on the top of my window and across my tailgate it shows up good on the white truck I;m Probably taking a risk because I work in Irvington when the natives get wind of what it means it should be interesting but I don't give a shit. I drive the Parkway 140 miles a day  5 days a week and I haven't seen one car with a blue line yet.Blue%20lives%20matter_zpsgobe9dez.png

Don't worry - the natives have no clue trust me, they are too busy sitting around all day to worry about peoples cars who actually work, its getting near the end of the month so it should be a rough few days but once those Snap cards get reloaded in the beginning of the month its like party time -

I think more than 20 is alot but have to feed the family whatever it takes 140 a day is why I go through 2 or 3 cars a year

You need to change the type of car you are using if you can't keep them that long. That's only about  35K a year of normal work schedule.

He is probably buying clunkers.

I have a 140ish mile commute and I buy garbage to drive.

I can understand the logic to that, but wonder if it's penny wise and pound foolish? Mighten it be cheaper in the long run to buy half decent used and try to hang onto it longer?

If funding just isn't there it's another story, I certainly am not in a position to judge, so I respectfully will shut my big yap now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

This Truck is actually a 2010 but I always bought beaters because of the assholes on the road. In  7 years of running up and down the parkway i've been in 4 accidents all 4 due to jerkoffs on their cell phones  so if you spend so much time on the road it doesn't pay to use anything nice

Wow, that's a whole other point of view I never considered. Now I'm glad I did't go getting all judgmental on yer ass!  :ok:
