You think they would at least update the 6 week reference since that would have meant that the range should have reopened already back in early August!

That's what I thought. That it reopened end of August.

Went to the first board meeting. Didn't really care for how they treated the members like children having to sign out and back in, and put a member in charge of list who wanted nothing to do with it. So when is 200 yd range opening again?

At least I have Union Hill Gun Club opening down the street from me soon. No sense in driving to Jackson for small indoor range when I am walking distance from UHGC.

I joined Central Jersey for the Outdoor Rifle. Hopefully it is fixed soon.

My understanding is UHGC is going to allow up to .308 indoor. Not too much fun shooting rifle at 100', but good for beginning to sight in, and better than nothing.

the 300 yard range has been closed for 3 months so far. Looks to be a couple of weeks from completion, but no one was around to ask at the time I was there last.  You can shoot at the 200 yard range during the week after 4 or 430 when the workers clear off the 300 yard side. Did it a few times during the summer and was pretty empty during the week.

It was open all day, but kind of crowded on the few weekends I went this summer.

It does suck that it was closed since the end of June but it had to be done and the rebuild including the new shelter and firing line looks pretty nice. Hopefully they open soon.

You can use the 200 yd range after the 2 or 3 workers leave. That's why it's taking so long, every time I'm there during the week there's only a couple guys working.

I hardly ever post here really just a lurker. It seems its impossible to get a straight answer as to when the gp/hp ranges will be open. It kept getting delayed over an over again. Yes it had to be done but it sucks we have to pay the full amount for membership this year. If I had a straight answer as to when it would be open I would be fine with it.  I understand things can happen and get delayed but for the amount of money we pay each year they could not get the right crew in there and just bang this out ?

I feel bad for you CJRPC members for the closings of the 200 and 300 yd ranges this year.

For me, as a High Power competitor, it was too bad that your club sacrificed the entire High Power season (including the 300 yd NJ Championship) for this closing.

I hope they get their act together so they can run the 2017 season without this unfortunate disruption.

John Donald runs a very good program, which was missed by many this year.
