Not much 3-gun/multi-gun action around NJ?

There doesn't seem to be much 3-gun/multi-gun action around NJ, why is that?  ... and a lot of the rifle matches seem to mostly involve 22 rimfire and not anything .223/5.56 or higher?

 

For those of you that like 3-gun/multi-gun, where do you go?  

 

My son and I are looking to get into this.  We will do the IDPA/USPSA pistol stuff, but we would like to use our AR-15 and shotgun too!

Easton has a monthly 3-gun match on the third Saturday of the month. Old Bridge and Central Jersey have occasional multi-gun matches - you just have to watch the forum to catch those - most likely in months that have five weekends. Also Topton, PA, but I have no idea what their schedule is.

Old bridge runs a couple of 3gun matches every year, plus a rifle only practical match, plus a shotgun one. I think the Rifle and Shotgun ones are coming up next month.
