svt3183 14 Posted October 12, 2016 Has anyone taken the muzzle nut off of a NJ compliant WASR? I figured it was threaded on, but I read there might be press on barrel nuts? Anyone with experience before I buy a break for this? It's a 10/63 if that matters
svt3183 14 Posted October 12, 2016 Found this There's no way to really determine what your WASR's muzzle might look like; it probably depends on what the Century monkeys had laying on their desk that day. I'll avoid making general commentaries; you'll just have to inspect it and see what you get.
svt3183 14 Posted October 12, 2016 Answering my own question should have searched more first https://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=4&f=79&t=105246
RecessedFilter 222 Posted October 13, 2016 I'm 99.9% sure it will be threaded on. It was most likely tac welded if it was done during import.
svt3183 14 Posted October 13, 2016 Thanks I looked at mine and it has standard plunger and tac weld on bottom. I think it's threaded on, I guess only one way to be sure.

Press plunger and then use your favorite tool to unscrew it.I accept no responsibility if you mess up your gun.
