aguilar64 9 Posted October 14, 2016 Does anyone have a Glock Sight Pusher I can borrow or maybe can swap some Glock sights for me?
louu 399 Posted October 14, 2016 What sight did you get? The Dawson Precision comes with a punch. You really don't have to get to fancy with it. Any brass or aluminum punch wrapped in painters tape will do.
aguilar64 9 Posted October 14, 2016 I got a Dawson Precision for a Glock 19 and Ameriglo for a Glock 34 By the way I'm in the Morris County area.
WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot 358 Posted October 14, 2016 I have an MGW Glock sight tool but it's only for sights with angled sides
aguilar64 9 Posted October 14, 2016 Yes, the Ameriglo is straight and not angled. I didn't know there would be an issue but now I can see why.
louu 399 Posted October 14, 2016 It's so easy a cave man can do it. Here is a way over detailed video on how to.
WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot 358 Posted October 14, 2016 Yep, be careful with using angled sight pusher on straight sights. You'll end up using a mallet and marring the sights.
Howard 538 Posted October 14, 2016 I got a Dawson Precision for a Glock 19 and Ameriglo for a Glock 34 By the way I'm in the Morris County area. Just use the punch that Dawson sent you, it works fine. They have a video on their web page on how to do it, very easy. EDIT - oops did not see the video was already posted. BullzeyeNJ 104 Posted October 15, 2016 A screwdriver and a hammer works too. If you want to keep it clean and not mar the sight then just put a piece of masking tape on the blade of the screwdriver.
