Derringers

Recommended Posts

I have a Bond Arms Texas Defender with barrels in:

.45ACP

.45LC/3" .410

.40S&W

.357mag/.38spl

.22LR

They are fun to shoot, however with anything larger than the .22, the rubber oversize grips make things a lot nicer.

It's a real handful esp with 3" .410's

That's the model with trigger guard right? How's the 357 barrel?

It's got the removable trigger guard (which I have removed)

The trigger design requires the trigger to be pulled more down than back, so it's much easier without the trigger guard in place.

With .38spl's it's much easier to handle than with full house .357's

All my barrels are 3" exc for the .45LC/.410 which is 3.5"

My father is planning a Bond Arms with one of his permits... ordered a SIG P938 for his other.

I like the small pistol idea, but not a fan of Derringers. I got a NAA Sidewinder Convertible with my last set of permits... and very happy with it. Cute revolver. [emoji41]

my old man has a bond arms .410/45. I kindof have a torn emotions on it, its fun and cool, but i dont see the practical purpose. He keeps toyin with puttin it up for sale to fund other things. I can inquire on it if you wish.

Sure, ask him. Maybe we can trade, what is he looking for?
