Mtn. Lion!

Recommended Posts

The reason I call BS on that image is because of the focus - there is no reason why that center - specifically where the cat is place should be out of focus when the other edges of it are in focus cept for the cat.

If the exposure was longer than a 1/30 second (very likely with night photography), motion blur is normal.

Not a lion. Plain ole housecat.

There are literally thousands of trail cams strewn all over the woods of NJ. They take night pics clear enough to allow you to count points on bucks, see spurs/beards on turkey, and catch any trespassers or hunters walking-by. And yet, nobody has EVER gotten a clear pic of a lion?

There are no lions in NJ, period.

I say the same goes for bigfoot.. I find it hard to believe there are no clear pics of him. That said, I do believe there are big cats roaming NW Jersey.

Where am I looking? I don't see it.

The dumb ass black cat sitting on the ground under my feeder. There is a deer coming into the frame on the left. You can see the front of his face. The next picture is the cat taking off pretty fast lol. There are always about 5 chipmunks under my feeder during the day when I'm sitting out there. The cat is probably waiting for them.
