As a first timer to this, I learned a few things:

- this is a group of good people

- bring more clays

- pumpkins at 35 yds can be pretty durable against bird shot

- I need to do this more often

Anything but clay targets and the smallest game birds can be pretty durable against bird shot at 35 yards.

Love watching everyone digging on the bullpups. Think I like watching others use them as much as I like shooting them myself. Also found ammo my Saiga 12 will cycle. And I got to try a really nice A400, as well as Chris's Vepr 12. Great day. Now I have 2 more shotguns on my list lol. I also learned that Black Ace's needs to improve their magazine design. BLF seemed to have a good sense of humor about it though, so it was all good. Glad to meet all the new faces this time. Good turnout.

Yeah..its seems its an ammo issue. Mag spring pressure may be too much for lite load low brass. Going to try some of my LE buck and see if that works better.

I will give a chance simply because we can all be honest. Its not a light load clay gun lol. Also low brass gives a lot of guns problems.

Great time as usual yesterday. My list of unfired shotguns dropped considerably. On the way home I bought a vepr 12 off gunbroker..lol

Depending on my work schedule I'll be in for the next one. I guess I'll actually clean, oil, and have a choke on my shotgun next time. Debating a ghost ring rear sight as well.

No ghost ring for shooting clays.  It'll mess with your head big time.
