9mm muzzle devices

Recommended Posts

What is everyone running? I'm looking at finally getting my sub2k soon and need to pin something on the threads. I'd prefer to get some kind of muzzle device (strictly for looks) over just pinning the black thread protector.

Has anyone tried pinning one of the "custom" thread protectors? How bad does the pin/weld mess it up?

For 1/2x28 thread pitch

why do you think a threaded barrel need pinning? Isn`t a one and half inch bore quite large very close to 40mm grenade launcher

Hardee Har Har. I fixed it

We use CNC Warrior Knurled Compensators on the AR-9's and they seem

to work well, look good & are very well made.

The 9mm AR's are 1/2-36

They do offer a 1/2-28 version for $30.00 along wit ha few other variatons...............

Will look into them. I'm surprised they went with the common pistol/ar thread and not the more popular 9mm ar thread.

Just for fun, check out Carlson Comps. Their flash enhancers seem cool, just make sure you get something with a hole big enough for 9mm. If you see something you like, give him a call and he may modify it. He's on UZITalk.

If you want to get weird, TROS will adapt that to any thread size you want. If it is not on their website, call them and they will do it. They sell a couple comps as well.
