Colt fans

As you know, Colt only makes limited runs of these and according to Colt rep, the most recent batch of 250 was sent out.  Before that, it was January and only 200.  These are in stock here and for 4-500 less than on gunbroker

I would take a Colt 6920 over most other brands. I do believe that the colt build is superior to many others in the same price range.

The truth is, there really isn't much value is the added cost of many rifles that are 'superior' to them.  Colt's socom barrels are getting a ridiculous reputation for accuracy besting even Noveske in testing.  Colt has served on every continent and in every war we've been in like Timex, they just work.

 

Molon on ar15.com has been documenting testing for several years in accuracy, barrel life etc.  Even Hendersons' out in Vegas has a list of line guns and one colt had 150k (conservative by his estimates) with only 2 bolts and one trigger spring needing replacement.

 

Having owned DD, LWRC, you name, I'll stick to my Colt Socom models and the various other ponies out there
