5.56 Headstamp?

So I'm going through all my step-father's misc ammunition and there is some really odd ball stuff in there.  Of course, he did run a gun shop for 10 years so I guess it's to be expected.

 

Anyway,  I found a couple storage boxes(around 150 rounds) of this stuff that LOOKS like 5.56.  My issue with it is that it appears to have a slightly longer Overall length than my other 5.56 ammo.

 

Just doing a google search indicates it's Israeli manufacture but beyond that, no clue.    I don't have a set of caliper here at home to get a good measure but if I had to guess, it's maybe .030 longer than my other ammo.

 

Thoughts?

It's definitely Israeli. I think it is 855 ammo.

TZZ is for "Military Industries" in Nazareth. I found the same head stamp but without the small #5. Is it magnetic?

TZZ is Israeli Military Industries. Year is 1989. '5' stamp could be for several reasons.  223 ammo OAL max is 2.260. 5.56 however is 2.250.

Not magnetic.   I also found a bunch of rounds with a 96 instead of 89 on them, which I again assume is the mfg date.

 

I read that it's good ammo.   I'll get a good measure on it tomorrow and find out what the actual OAL is.

I read the 193 is marked 1 and the 855 is marked 5. No idea if it is true. Doesn't make sense to me. The two digits are the manufacture date.
