Range Finder Recommendations

Recommended Posts

Hello all-

I have been looking at range/distance finders. Anyone have any recommendations?

I have been looking at the following:

1) Nikon Aculon

2) Simmons LRF 600

3) Bushnell 202442

4) SIG Kilo1250 and Kilo2000

Thanks,

S.

Oh, BTW, I am not really looking to spend $ 1000+ on one. More than likely between $200-500.

Here you go.

I have the same model and it has worked flawlessly out to 1200 yards, so far.

I have tried many of the other rangefinders out there and most of them will not range out to their advertised distance; some even had problems at 1/2 of what they advertised. The Leica goes well beyond.

The RRF-101 is on DVOR for $269.99 right now

Ya know whats ironic? DVOR is Optics Planet.

The only caveat with them is they take long to ship. At least that has been my experience.

Yep. They also charge $10 shipping unless they have free shipping going on. I've never found their shipping to take a very long time unless they specifically stated it would. In those cases, it was always worth it for the price they were selling what I wanted.

Thank you. It seems to get great reviews.

SIG Kilo1250

-saw it at the show last night and got a chance to handle it. (its on my short list now)  Its a nice piece of equipment, quicker refresh, great glass and getting rave reviews.   the guys had the Vortex stuff there, as well.  They all prefer the Sig over the Vortex.
