alan1985 0 Posted January 16, 2017 Not sure if this is the right place to post so please let me know if I should move it. A good friend and lifelong shooter is in the process of developing a space in Ramsey, NJ for an indoor club, shooting range, retail space, and restaurant. I recently found a petition circling in opposition to the opening of the facility. After some googling I found that there is also a petition in support. I know the guys working on the range would appreciate everyone's support in signing and helping blow away the numbers of the opposition petition. Please share around wherever you can. Thanks. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/315/426/074/ramsey-residents-say-yes-to-properly-regulated-gun-range-club-at-69-spring-st./

Parker 213 Posted January 28, 2017 Seems the Ramsey Town Council is moving fast to interrupt this. More absurdity. http://www.northjersey.com/story/news/bergen/ramsey/2017/01/27/ramsey-ordinance-amends-gun-laws-hurts-proposed-range/97154600/
siderman 1,131 Posted January 28, 2017 . I'm not up on municipal law but I sure hope theres is an appeal process for the builder. Making last minute laws on the fly sounds like abusive obstruction to me. "Recent events have given us cause to strengthen and further clarify language in the existing ordinance to ensure that there is no misunderstanding about how seriously we take the health and safety of our residents,” Councilman Peter Kilman said.
