It means Raritan Twp is going to be issuing permits to Bow hunt deer on township owned property, to properly licensed archery hunters. And if you wish to receive a permit, to apply on the 24th.

20 years ago I had places to hunt al over Bridgewater -- now nothing 

 

All the places I hunted are houses,condos, or temples now

 

I used to love being able to get home from work early - like 3pm and be in a tree by 3:30

 

Now everywhere I go is at least a 30 minute drive 

 

I'll certainly send and email inquiring about what is available for raritan but it's still a 30 minute drive

Got the bid info.  Attached is the bid packet for the set of parcels that are open to anyone.

The township has several parcels up for competitive bid for hunting rights leases.

If you are the highest bidder, you will be able to lease the rights to hunt on the specific parcel you bid on. One set of parcels, bidder must have a principal base of operations within the township. The other set is open to anyone.

Residents can bid on both sets.

 

You can also pick up a packet at the Clerk’s Office, One Municipal Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822
