Rob0115 1,105 Posted March 23, 2017 I received a note from Fostech that my trigger is ready to ship but they cannot ship it to me because I live in NJ. Well they made a mistake because they didn't check that shipping and billing addresses were different. However the point is they were very clear that any firearm that can expend more than one round per trigger press is illegal in NJ and cut and paste the statute into the note. Rob0115 1,105 Posted March 23, 2017 Robert, Your Echo Trigger is ready to ship, however, we are no longer allowed to ship to your state. FosTecH cannot be relied upon to provide legal advice, and nothing in this message should be relied upon as legal advice. Legal questions and requests for legal advice should be directed to a qualified attorney in your area. With the ever-changing wave of state and local firearms laws and regulations, individuals and local federal firearms licensees are typically in the best position to know what firearms and accessories can and cannot be sold in their particular locations and, if they can be sold, how and to whom. Depending upon your location, an FFL may not be permitted to carry for sale all FosTecH products, and FosTecH has restricted its direct sales to preclude sales to individuals in certain states. For example, some states have instituted definitions, etc., that are more stringent than federal law and, as a result, the Echo Trigger® may be prohibited or subject to increased regulation in some such states. Moreover, other states have enacted other types of laws that do or may bear on the legality of some products. As such, FosTecH may, from time to time, restrict the sale of its products in various locations. It has come to FosTecH’s attention that certain states may have an issue with The Echo Trigger®. While The Echo Trigger® is not, standing alone, a firearm, some states may deem a firearm with The Echo Trigger® installed to be a machinegun. Such states that have come to our attention are as follows: New Jersey: Machinegun definition includes a firearm not requiring the trigger to be pressed for each shot. See, NJAC 13:54-1.2. North Dakota: Machinegun definition includes a firearm not requiring the trigger to be pressed for each shot. See, NDCC Chapter 62.1-01. Oregon: Machinegun definition includes a firearm allows two or more shots to be fired by a single pressure on the trigger device. See, ORS § 166.210. Washington: Machinegun definition includes a firearm not requiring the trigger to be pressed for each shot. See, RCW § 9.41.010(15). If you are from one of these states and would like a full refund, FosTecH will provide such immediately. Conversely, if you have someone from another state who would like to take your place in line, FosTecH will facilitate that as well. Please understand, however, that if you elect to have someone else take your place in line, you are responsible to ensure that you do not take possession of and/or utilize The Echo Trigger® in any way that would be a violation of the law of any state or municipality. We thank you for your support of FosTecH and the American firearms industry, and we look forward to serving your needs for many years to come. Rob0115 1,105 Posted March 23, 2017 Yes that was where I wanted it shipped anyway. I preordered so long ago that they must have assumed ship to billing address when that's not what I wanted.

JT Custom Guns 956 Posted March 24, 2017 You do not have to use their bolt carrier, but if you use a std bolt carrier it will need to be modified to work with the hammer lock properly................

Rob0115 1,105 Posted April 9, 2017 OK, I got my FosTech setup, I bought it with BCG, and I'm going to try and run it in my 300 blackout SBR, subsonic , supressed--in other words a deep expression of my being repressed in NJ rifle.

Rob0115 1,105 Posted April 9, 2017 Ugh what a horrible device. It made me expend 120 rounds of ammo in the blink of an eye. Ok, I'm bullshitting, it was really cool, but it's going to cost a lot to keep it fed.
