Jfoster99 80 Posted April 1, 2017 Lithgowarms Atrax F90 is her name... to be released any day now. Anyone interested? I would love to get an MSAR but since they are out of business I'd hate to risk a breakage. Part are impossible to find. http://www.lithgowarms.com/portfolio-item/f90/
BlueLineFish 615 Posted April 1, 2017 I'm in as long as the price isn't ridiculous
Jfoster99 80 Posted April 1, 2017 With it being adopted as the new service rifle for the Australian Army I expect service and support to be around for awhile... I worry the Desert Tec MDR will end up like MSAR after a 5 year run and go out of business.
High Exposure 5,635 Posted April 1, 2017 I am very interested - but I am not a fan of being an early adopter of any new gun. I have an MSAR - love it, but like you said, parts are an issue. Rumor has it that initial pricing is around $2000.
Rob0115 1,105 Posted April 1, 2017 2000.00 is the same pricing as the Steyr, which is ridiculous that you can't have in NJ but can have this clones.
Shane45 807 Posted April 1, 2017 I like the way the optic stays with the barrel assembly.

Displaced Texan 11,653 Posted April 1, 2017 I think I might have to have that....
High Exposure 5,635 Posted April 2, 2017 Looks like it uses AUG mags. I may wait for a NATO stock version. Seems silly to invest in more reduced capacity mags...
Ray Ray 3,566 Posted April 2, 2017 I wonder if they make a southpaw version

High Exposure 5,635 Posted April 2, 2017 I wonder if they make a southpaw version This is the southpaw version. Move the shell deflector to the other side and BOOM it is wrong handed.

If they come out with one, I'm all over it. Been wanting an MSAR for years but avoided it because of lack of parts.
Ray Ray 3,566 Posted April 2, 2017 This is the southpaw version. Move the shell deflector to the other side and BOOM it is wrong handed. The shell deflector, if swapped to the other side, will also eject them that way too?
High Exposure 5,635 Posted April 2, 2017 The shell deflector, if swapped to the other side, will also eject them that way too? That's what the literature says. Reading through it sounds like there are 2 options for Satans Childres: a Shell Deflector and a Lefty Bolt.

I think I would need both. I've shouldered an Steyr Aug and the ejection port is covered by my cheek.

The article in RECOIL magazine from issue 28 page 60 states that it "the version destined for the U.S.......uses magazines we stocked up on for years.." But that could be anything.
