Does anyone know of a supplier of semi finished rifle stocks,  inletted and non-inletted.   I used to buy them from Fajen 20-30 years ago and they are no longer around.   want to make a few fancy grade stocks for a few of my rifles and cant seem to find a company like Fajen.   They had a good selection of various woods from all over as well as a lot of different designs.

Boyds gun stocks. They make lots of different stocks for all types of guns in a variety of woods.

Fajen is gone, Lett is gone. a few a others as well.  Fantastic Plastic has shown them the door.  Now a niche business for custom work that you pay dearly for.  Macon Gunstocks now owns/runs what was left of Fajen and Bishop.  Could see if they fit your needs.

If I look hard enough I bet I can find the old Bishop and Reinhart Fajen color catalogs in my basement. They were something to look at back then. Now folks are auctioning off the old catalogs for up to $25.

Hard to find quality old timber and expensive to process.  Even your jambs on new doors is a type of pine wood from China.

Beautiful wood flawlessly finished and perfectly fitted to steel by craftsmen is a dying art.
