  1. The biggest thing hat needs to happen, is that the state needs to be held responsible for legal fees for infringement. If you can get this, you will have lawyers lining up to take these cases.
  2. Once the expungement goes through, can you answer no to "have you ever been arrested?"
  3. I appreciate it. I think it is the overall paranoia as a gun owner in this state. I assume the worst and get surprised by anything else.
  4. Commercial lease and doesn't mention firearms. Lease is in corporation name. You are right there really isnt much case law on this.
  5. 2C:39-6. Exemptions. .................................................. e. Nothing in subsections b., c. and d. of N.J.S.2C:39-5 shall be construed to prevent a person keeping or carrying about his place of business, residence, premises or other land owned or possessed by him, any firearm, or from carrying the same, in the manner specified in subsection g. of this section, from any place of purchase to his residence or place of business, between his dwelling and his place of business, between one place of business or residence and another when moving, or between his dwelling or place of business and place where such firearms are repaired, for the purpose of repair. For the purposes of this section, a place of business shall be deemed to be a fixed location. I know the law says you can have a gun at your place of business, but I am being told you need to own the place of business, which doesnt make sense. Long story short: NY resident wants to keep a handgun locked in their safe in his NJ office. Business is a corporation, half owned by him. Lease is in name of corporation and is in a large office complex. Any thoughts?
  6. Took your advice and got the Troy Bilt, I was looking for a much larger unit, but if you say thats good enough for a typical home, its good enough for me. I am all for running the minimum needed. Fridge, freezer, heater and TV, thats really it, I can live without AC or even lights, but dont want my meat to spoil.
  7. I didnt notice that. I was thinking of buying the same unit also. Group buy????
  8. The Canon AK-47, get it before it is banned in NJ.
  9. How did they know you had guns when you moved there?
  10. I told my wife, they are cowards and will usually run if the cubs arent around but she worries about the kids. Would it look odd if I sat on my porch with a 10/22?
  11. My mother-in-law saw one up by the Jersey City reservoir in her neighborhood a few months back and my neighbor snapped this pic yesterday off 287. My wife said she saw one over the weekend but thought it was a fox. Dont mind actually since I dont have any pets and my yard is gated, but my wife was actually afraid to go out last night to shut off the pool filter. I remember a few years back there was a young black bear off 10.
  12. My bad, thanks for the link, that whole day was hilarious. I liked him better than Jimmy.
  13. I love Ron, but the show would become more NPR less O&A. Gary Soder is the only one I can see jumping in, they may try for Adam Corolla but where are you going to find someone as funny and edgy as Anthony. None of the regulars can hack it. CK is funnier but all the rest feed off Anthony more than anyone else. Plus he was the only one with any common sense.
  14. There was no wait and it was Sunday afternoon, they said they have been slow. I even got to buy some 22lr
  15. No clue, the only thing I could think of was that his wasnt in a box and mine was and they put tape around my box. Maybe if I cut the tape I would have been taken down. His was paper wrapped in tape. Only think I could think of. Either that or I have a trustworthy face.
