  1. Life has hit me real hard and I need extra cash. I've come to the difficult decision to sell a good part of my collection. I've got 3 handguns (glock 19, glock 26 and a ruger .22) and one 20 gauge mossberg that I want to sell. I've got a decent amount of 9mm and 22 ammo (kept high and dry) as well as a few thousand small pistol primers. I've got extra magazines for the Glocks as well. I know I can take the guns themselves to a shop and have them sell the guns on consignment but what can I do with the ammo and primers and extra maganizes? Any advice on how to properly sell these things would be great. Thanks!
  2. yea, sorry, I have been out of the loop for a bit. Thanks for the heavy reading Paul.
  3. Paul's website (arms-n-ammo.com) shows the following: Auto Ordnance US Carbine Semi-Auto Rifle Cal. 30 M1 with a blinking icon that this is soon to be NJ legal. When did this happen? What did I miss? I tried the new search feature in the forums but it kept failing because I was trying to search on the phrase "m1 carbine".
  4. In this case, she is a resident of NJ who holds a valid VA license. She was told that she could continue to use the VA license until it expires. That did not make much sense to me since as of 2 months ago her primary residence is in NJ. I told her that in order to make the application process smooth, she should get her NJ drivers license.
  5. Thanks every one. I was fairly certain that this was the case but I could not find a definitive answer on the NJSP website quickly enough.
  6. I have a friend that I am trying to help get her NJ FID and a PP. She is a homeowner in NJ but she still has her Virginia Drivers license. Is this going to be a problem when she talks with the Police dept?
  7. Are you buying it or is someone leaving it to you in their will? If you are buying it then I believe it is treated as any other handgun purchase in NJ. Permits are required.
  8. hello from Audubon. Great to have another south NJ member on board.
  9. http://volokh.com/2010/07/19/no-guns-for-you-youve-slammed-doors-very-hard/ It is good to see NJ issues getting a little national attention. here is an excerpt:
  10. Then everyone with a non res CCW from FL is committing a crime going to PA?
  11. If you follow the rules for transporting that are required by NJ you will be covered in PA. NJ rules are stricter than PA. So in PA you are just doing overkill.
  12. great info everyone. let me reitterate tat i have no intention of doing anything like this. I follow the law, as shitty as it might be..
  13. Seems to me that if I don't have to go through any checks in the state I buy the cap and ball revolver in, and OWNING the gun in question is not illegal in NJ, what's the issue? You could pose that buying a 33rd Glock mag would fall into the same category, no check to buy it at a gun show in PA. But extra large capacity mags are specifically mentioned as illegal in NJ. Another weird question: BB handguns, is a Pistol permit needed to purchase one in PA? PS: I'm just thinking off the cuff. I have no desire to do what I am talking about. I really hate NJ gun laws.
  14. OK, follow me on this one because I am confused: I can not walk into a PA gun store and walk out with a handgun because they still have to do and NICS check and in doing so they will know I am from NJ. I get that. So at a place like cabela's, can I buy a cap and ball revolver without showing ID? If I understand what others above are saying there is no NICS check for cap and ball? Therefore it would be just like buying a BB gun. I can buy a BB gun and not show ID. A bb gun is illegal in NJ unless you have a FID card. So bringing a bb gun into NJ is fine as long as I have a FID. As discussed in other threads, in NJ you need FID and pistol permits to PURCHASE guns. When people move to NJ from other states, or are given guns as part of an inheritance, registration of guns is optional. Therefore cap and ball revolver could be bought in another state LEGALLY and brought into NJ LEGALLY???? WE MUST CLOSE THE CAP AND BALL LOOPHOLE! OMG THERE WILL BE BLACK POWDER MURDER ON THE STREETS!
