  1. Mods, please delete. Thanks.
  2. With all the hardship(s) going on that was already starting last year you would think Murphy would rescind the penalty we Jerseyans have to pay for not having insurance in 2019. It's already been revoked at the Federal level. This is just another way for Murphy to suck $ from us. For those of us between jobs this is a big financial hurt. From what I've been told, forget trying to file a hardship exemption. Has anyone heard any talk of this mandate being rescinded due to Covid19?
  3. Thanks guys. I've called around to few salvage yards and no dice yet. It's a haul but I'll give RP in Pennsauken a call Monday. Waiting on Metuchen Tranny on a quote as well. Truck runs great and just had a new exhaust system put on. Figures, right?
  4. Got a GMC Suburban. Pinion gear in the rear differential has two teeth cracked off. 238K miles on the truck and she runs great otherwise. Remanufactured rear axle/diff with drum brakes is around $1450 from what I'm seeing. I'm thinking..hoping more like it, there's a good shop around central NJ that rebuilds diffs. Anyone know of any? Thank you. OK, just talked to a friend who recommended Metuchen Transmission on Vineyard Rd in Edison. Any opinions on them? Thanks.
  5. Another vote for the A119. I've had mine over a year and only about 4 or 5 times have I had to reboot it, usually in the extreme heat or cold. Very good night time video, too.
  6. Another vote for Popeyes. But, if I can get there I'll go to Big Harley's BBQ in Sayreville. Some of the best damn food in the area, even if you don't like BBQ. Dang, now I want some brisket!
  7. Dean, what about a dual-sport like a KLR650? I would imagine NH has more places to go than NJ where you can get onto some nice fire roads, etc.. Great for commuting too due to its upright nature so you'll sit a little higher than normal. I've had plenty of other bikes.
  8. I've been on hold waiting for Palmetto to pick up for 10mins now so I can check an order I put in 9 days ago. I'd like to get my stuff before that scumbag Murphy bans everything. I'm gonna stay on hold to see if anyone ever picks up. I've got it on speakerphone. ------ OK, 25 minutes for Tameka (sp?) to pick up and tell me they're heavily behind due to Christmas sales, which I can understand, but 25 minutes on hold for customer service is shameful. I expect current orders to be shipped a helluvalot quicker than 10 days. Wow.
  9. I've tried all I could find as of last year but the one I kept and keep using is the Edge Pro. For quick touch ups on my beat-to-sh*t work knives I use paper wheels on a bench grinder. For everything else, like my EDC, the Edge Pro does what I need and pretty quick.
  10. I'd give the guys at GSD in Keyport a call and see if they know anyone in case they don't do chrome. http://www.gsdcoatings.com
  11. Nice guy and a good deal. Thank you Jon.
  12. RTSP is opening a shop and range in Union on Rte 22 West next summer. That's their hope. As for shops, Matt and I think the guy's name is Jan, both at Heritage in Rahway, have always been cool with me. I try to be nice and respectful to everyone. I don't get it back then I go elsewhere unless no one else has what I'm looking for.
