  1. My CDefense has a way different bullet profile / ogive than my CDuty..............easy to tell apart.
  2. The sorry part is, the COSTCO in Bridgewater is in one of the most crime ridden areas .....all those shoplifters they arrest there 24/7 are in the parking lot with ya before they get into the stores.....a crime fest everyday as posted in the local Police Blotter.
  3. Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson touted Florida residents' rights under the state's Stand Your Ground law A Florida sheriff responded to the criticism and praise he has received for his viral comments about encouraging citizens to use the kill shot against home invaders. During a press conference in April 2022, Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson said, "If someone is breaking into your house, you're more than welcome to shoot. We prefer you to do that, actually." The comments have gone viral again in juxtaposition to a story in New York where a woman was arrested for trying to remove squatters from her property. Johnson told Fox News Digital in an interview that he stands by his comments and that it's a "no-brainer." "I said [at the press conference] if you shoot accurately, and you kill the guy, you save taxpayers money. And I also said that if somebody gets killed during a home invasion, the odds of them re-offending are zero. And we like those odds, which we do," he told Fox News Digital. And in Santa Rosa County, we have a very high percentage of the population that have weapons, and I promote the use of them if you're in your house. And somebody kicks your door in because they're not coming in to give you a hug or to give you cookies, they're coming in to commit felonies," he continued. The incident Johnson addressed at the 2022 press conference was not a squatter situation like the story in New York, but a home invasion. Since he made the remarks, he claims there has not been a single home invasion. "And it's kind of ironic that, since that press conference, we haven't had any home invasions, and it's been over a year, so it's kind of odd," he said. The sheriff touted Florida's Stand Your Ground law, which say residents do not have a legal duty to retreat (i.e. making a reasonable effort to escape) from an attacker. "You don't have to retreat. You don't have to give them warning. You don't have to go barricade yourself in a room. You can shoot and kill them. And in the state of Florida, that's perfectly legal," he said. "And in these other states where they don't have that, people are afraid to own guns, and they're afraid to protect themselves. That's why you have the crime rate in New York, in California."
  4. I know they have an exam and eyeglass section in the COSTCO in Bridgewater......does that qualify them for a off limits store.

  10. In a ruling that had both proponents and opponents of the Second Amendment do a curious double take, a federal judge has ruled that an illegal immigrant was wrongly banned from possessing firearms. U.S. District Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman ruled on March 8 that the defendant, Heriberto Carbajal-Flores, who is residing in the United States illegally, had his Second Amendment right’s violated when prosecutors originally charged him with 18 U.S.C § 922, which bars illegal immigrants from carrying guns or ammunition. “The noncitizen possession statute, 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(5), violates the Second Amendment as applied to Carbajal-Flores,” Judge Coleman wrote in her ruling. “Thus, the court grants Carbajal-Flores’ motion to dismiss.” The defense team for Mr. Carbajal-Flores had argued in their recent motion that the government could not show the law referenced was “part of the historical tradition that delimits the outer bounds of the right to keep and bear arms.” In 2022, the Supreme Court ruled that the government must show that each regulation “is consistent with this nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation.” The precise wording of the high court’s decision was enough for the defense to argue successfully in favor of dismissal. “Lifetime disarmament of an individual based on alienage or nationality alone does not have roots in the history and tradition of the United States,” Mr. Carbajal-Flores’ lawyers said. “The government argues that Carbajal-Flores is a noncitizen who is unlawfully present in this country. The court notes, however, that Carbajal-Flores has never been convicted of a felony, a violent crime, or a crime involving the use of a weapon. Even in the present case, Carbajal-Flores contends that he received and used the handgun solely for self-protection and protection of property during a time of documented civil unrest in the Spring of 2020,” Judge Coleman wrote. The ruling has promoted a large range of reactions across the legal and Second Amendment community. Writing on The Reload, attorney Matthew Larosiere agreed with the decision saying that even those in the country illegally are part of “the people” the Framer’s mention in the Second Amendment. “To find that illegal immigrants are outside of ‘the people’ protected by the Second Amendment, you must believe that the Framers were talking about a different ‘people’ in the First, Fourth, Ninth, and Tenth Amendments,” he wrote. What Say You.....
