 .45 ACP 50 rds. 230 gr. FMJ $14.99/ 9mm 115 gr. FMJ $9.99
OK, let me first say that I was hesitant buying this ammo because of the mixed reviews. It's the MFS ammo on sale at Cabela's here: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp;jsessionid=UBHVGCPG11RBLLAQBBJSCN3MCAEFIIWE?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat602007-cat20837&id=0073215217158a&navCount=1&podId=0073215&parentId=cat20837&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=9IS&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat601233&hasJS=true&_requestid=90774I first bought 5 boxes of the .45 ACP @ $14.99 per 50 rd. box, then bought another 10 boxes . I used a $30 coupon and $20 in Cabela's bucks. It came to around $11 per box shipped. I also bought some of the 9mm on sale for $9.99. So far I shot 250 rds. of this ammo through my Ruger P90 and Ruger P95 with not so much as a hiccup. The guns were pretty dirty, but that was no big deal, I clean them after every range trip anyway. My concern was with the squibs some shooters mentioned. So, hey, with the price of .45 ammo, I find this to be the best deal of the summer for us online buyers. Of course it depends on what gun you're shooting. My P series Ruger's are built like tanks. Knowing Cabela's, this sale should be ending soon, as It's been available at this price for 2 weeks already.

My buddy ran it through his Glock 21 without a single issue.

I've shot this stuff in 9mm and 38 special. It goes bang when I pull the trigger.

The reviews on the Cabelas site were mixed but I have fired over 600 rounds in my Beretta 92FS with a light hammer spring and my CX4 with zero problems.

I had lots of problems with that MFS2000 crap. I bought like 1k rounds and had A TON of failure to fires. I had good primer strikes, no bangy. If I pulled again double action it would fire 25% of the time... unloaded and reloaded into the mag it would fire 75% of the time. The rest of the time it usually would never fire.
Someone else at an IDPA match was using it and managed to get through an 80rd match without a FTF. I'm not sure what his long term reliability was tho.
I'll never buy again... I'd rather go out to wally world and get the Federal 115 red box stuff, or rmammo reloads, or the remington 250rd boxes for $52

What gun were you shooting it out of? How were the primer strikes? Light?

Taurus PT-99 solid primer strikes. I've shot like 3k of four different types of ammo through it since without a single FTF.

I've only shot about 3-4 box of MFS. Had one round that took 3 striker hits before firing (M&P 9). The rest went bang. Not really a high number of rounds to really have much of an opinion, but, it stood out in my mind cuz it was the first (and so far only) time it ever happened to me.

I've put 500 rounds of this ammo through my Sig P6 and S&W 59 over the past few months with no issues. I think I had 2 or 3 FTE's total. Very reliable stuff. Accuracy and consistency is good too.
I don't think you can reload 9mm for much less than 20 cents per round.
