 Re: cherry ridge question
I don't have the answer about the girlfriend. Do you and the GF live together? If not, you can't say you are family in my opinion. Just show up at the Sunday sign up. Be there early, like 9, bring a pen. I don't know about bowling pins, but you can bring metal targets. Ask an RO before using a bowling pin.

 Re: cherry ridge question
Not at CR. Ft. Dix allows that as do a few other central jersey ranges. But not CR. Paper, clay or silhouette targets (at the appropriate ranges) are pretty much your only choices. Not sure about the bowling pins the OP asked about.
It's one of the downsides of CR.

 Re: cherry ridge question
>>Family This membership provides range privileges for the member, a spouse or SO<< Significant other seems to be the catch-all, so yeah, you can have your GF on the family plan if she is your Significant Other. Not sure what Significant Other means specifically....wide range there but I don't imagine they're going to argue with you about it. They'll smile and take your money.

If they ask, just tell them you're a male lesbian.

 Re: cherry ridge question
I've never seen anyone use them. My guess is it's a no, simply because they leave debris behind. But it's just a guess. Best bet is to ask an RO when you're there.

 Re: cherry ridge question
Agreed. Like I said, it's one of the downsides of the range.

 Re: cherry ridge question
not sure if anyone was wondering this also, but no bowling pins at cherry ridge. I asked a ro and he said metal targets only or if they have the wood up for target frams you can use them. thanks chris

 Re: cherry ridge question
You should try the Competition Forum. USPSA has you shooting paper and steel. The paper targets can swing and it's "Run and Gun". I should also mention you can fire as fast as you can accurately hit the target. At the 2x4 mathces, you can shoot a piece of wood in half. Shongum lets you shoot other stuff but you have to clean up after yourself.
