2 pointsThis is how a state supreme court should act. The Deleware Supreme Court goes further than Heller in striking down state agencies that effectively eliminated the right to carry arms in state parks. The Deleware constitution includes the right to keep and bear arms for defense of self, home, family, and state. Unfortunately New Jersey does not. The opinion is an interesting read. https://courts.delaware.gov/Opinions/Download.aspx?id=266310 "This appeal concerns guns and, as such, has attracted numerous amici curiae raising politically fraught questions concerning gun rights.1 However, at its core, this case raises straightforward questions of Delaware constitutional and administrative law. We are asked whether unelected officials from the State’s parks and forest departments, whose power is expressly limited, can ban (except for a narrow exception for hunting) the possession of guns in state parks and forests in contravention of Delawareans’ rights under the State’s constitution. Clearly they cannot. They lack such authority because they may not pass unconstitutional laws, and the regulations completely eviscerate a core right to keep and bear arms for defense of self and family outside the home -- a right this Court has already recognized. As such, the regulations are unconstitutional on their face. Thus, we REVERSE for these reasons and those that follow."

2 pointsThe US cleaners are a waste of money. We have one at work and I hate it. It's more work than just cleaning it yourself. OP - If it takes you longer than 10 minutes to clean your carbine, you are doing it wrong. Too much cleaning can actually wear parts. Don't stress over it, you don't have to make it inspection presentable. Break it down, wipe it off, inspect for wear, snake the barrel, lube it, and put it back together.

1 pointLike 2 years ago my favorite videos were a guy from TN who did gun reviews from his backyard compound. And could hit an 80 yard gong with a hand gun. The other guy was a cranky fat guy from Philly who seemed very blue collar relatable and did gun and gear reviews from his basement. Again, seemed very knowledgeable. Back then i thought Yeager was a kooky radical. Then I discovered this Bloovman guy and he was really good discussing training with Sentinel Concepts guy. But in prolly the last 6 months maybe it’s YouTube sensorship but all three of those channels have gone to shit and I found myself watching Yeager out of desperation. And you know what? I like it. It’s changing my mindset ”you competition guys practice for speed, my students shoot for stress”. “You guys can target practice all you want to hit little red dot, but I want my guys to hit a head shot from 25 yards. Yes a head shot. These fucking psycho killers will be more and more wearing armor you gotta learn to take head shots” i guess two years ago I would have laughed at that but now I feel like I’m done thinking holster draw and 3 on the plate at 15 yards or whatever with shot timer. My next goal is a medium pace head shot at 25. Boy I hope my glasses are up to date.

1 pointHowdy y’all! I’m making kolaches for a friend of mine as Christmas gifts. I exposed my NJ neighbor to Kolaches a couple of years back, when I took him out to the ranch for a hunting trip. He’s been raving about them ever since. They are usually sold in mom and pop donut shops throughout Texas. I thought I’d share the process of making these little jewels. For you Yankees, a kolache is a pretty popular savory snack back home in Texas, derived from Polish immigrants who settled in east/central Texas. It’s a semi sweet dough, wrapped around some type of smoked sausage. I believe y’all call them ‘pigs in a blanket’ (according to my Yankee wife). I started out by making a batch of my great grandmothers bread dough. 2 packages of yeast. 2 cups of water 2t salt 8-9 cups of flour, depending on humidity. 1 1/3 cups of sugar. Mix yeast in a little warm water with one tsp of sugar to activate. Mix all ingredients. Coat the bread dough in a little vegetable oil, and put in a warm place. Let the bread dough rise until it doubles in size..about 2 hours. Punch it down, and allow to rise again. Do this twice. Take golf ball sizes of dough, and wrap them in small smoked sausages (ie: Little Smokies). Allow to rise again. Bake at 325 for 20-25 mins. Brush with melted butter. You can also use larger smoked sausage links. I like jalapeño cheddar links. Mmmmmm! Tasty! Here’s the bread dough after the second rise. Second pic is kolaches, on the 3rd rise. Third pic is the jalapeño cheddar kolaches. I’ll update once they are baked. My mouth is watering!!!!

1 pointSorry if I'm off base, But, They should be..Someday it might be them. With more people moving south to warmer climates, like Florida and the Carolinas, might happen to them. Isn't Florida where most New Yorkers go, they might be first.

1 pointI know. Just something to tuck away in the neural synapses for the future.

1 pointLooks just like the igniter I had on a gas furnace for years. I had a contract with PSEG and they replaced these things so many times a year I lost count. The head of their service department got to the point that he just gave me a bunch of them as he knew I could replace them myself. He said if I ever got low just put the new one in and call for repair and take it out just before service got there, that way I would not be without heat as they never stocked them on the truck and it always required two visits to replace.

1 pointLooking good. Try looking up something my cousin in McLennan County taught me, "Armadillo Eggs". This kind is smoked, he rolls his in panko crumbs and deep fries his. Don't worry, after you eat 'em, they find their own way out. Smoked Armadillo Eggs Jalapeno poppers wrapped in sausage meat and then smoked or grilled on indirect heat. 1 pound sausage meat 5 jalapeno peppers 1/2 brick cream cheese 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese Instructions 1. Start up smoker and get it up to 250F. 2. Cut the top off the jalapeno pepper. Core the pepper to remove the seeds and membrane. 3. Mix together the cream cheese and grated cheddar. 4. Fill the cored peppers with the filling. 5. Take some of the sausage meat and wrap it around the pepper. Make sure none of the pepper is visible. Roll it so that it is in the shape of an egg. 6. Place on a smoker rack and place in the smoker. 7. Smoke for about 2 hours. You want the temperature of the sausage meat to be 160F. 8. Serve. Grill Method - Setup grill for indirect heat and bring up to 325F. Place armadillo eggs on the indirect side and cook for about 30-45 minutes.

1 pointThat's because like most everything they "think" about, their ideas are out of touch with reality.
-
1 pointYep. Because NJ doesn’t think you can do it without blowing your neighborhood up. It’s incredible. Our lawmakers think we are all as dumb as they are.

1 pointGuy might be a nice fellow, I think he does really dumb shit but I'd rather have his videos than let them but banned Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

1 pointI'm not going to mention who on YouTube is naughty and nice, but Mr Yeager is actually a good guy. A total gentlemen and very polite.
-
1 pointI used to watch Yeager and then grew tired of him and unsubscribed. On the other hand in the last few days I have seen a couple of video's supporting him and saying in person he is real nice guy (funny he sounds like a rougher Trump). Take a look at SkinnyMedic's and Sootch00's video;s about him. Sootch00 SkinnyMedic

1 pointThat size target out to at least 300 should be achievable with a dot or irons.
-
1 point....and these are the POS that tell us how to live our lives....OMO.
-
1 pointI would skip the magnifier and invest that money into training, you should be able to hit a 12x24" target out to about 400-500 yards unmagnified unless your eyes are real bad.
-
1 pointThe Code is everything. The blink pattern tells you what is wrong. Could be not enough draft, a bad inducer, or sensor, etc. That type of igniter does not spark. It's a heat element. Resistance should be high.

1 pointWent together like the stock parts. Did use the included wave washer, which really keeps the extension from moving. No issues loading or unloading, so thinking it is good (real test is at the range). Put in the Wilson spring, but kept in the stainless follower. When I sent the Wilson follower down the tube, it jammed in the magazine opening, which is one of the things I upgrade on my Remingtons. Had an 11-87 with stock polymer follower that hung up in cold weather, making it close to impossible to load the magazine. I’m thinking about a GG&G rear QD sling plate to fit between the grip/receiver (will make gun slightly longer, so no issue), but not doing anything that will use a front sling mount. Stud is right in front of the muzzle, and I’m not looking to shoot off a sling. It is small enough that a single point is good enough... if I decide to go that route. Was considering to yank the stud off (C clamp, then falls out the inside), but then I’ll have a hole that size at the end of the tube. How it will run with TLR-1.

1 pointSo why are you wasting your time here typing about failures that have yet to take place? Why aren't you busy packing your bags and leaving?
-
1 pointYes it does, it kind of makes that trip to the range with the handgun and no deviations a joke don’t it? So yes, we have to drive directly to the range and technically can’t stop for fuel or food but now everyone else will be getting off the NJTP looking for burger joints feeding their faces with their S&W 642's in their pants and I’ll still be the golden boy going to and from with no detours. Can’t make this stuff up LOL

1 pointSadly I do not know why it is so hard to comprehend that you will never be allowed to carry in NJ. Thinking that this is some majuc bullet is foolhardy The only real solution is to LEAVE nj We r the minority and everyone else takes precedence but the law abiding hard working citizen

1 pointGot my package from Brownell’s today... Removing the detents with the XS swage was actually extremely easy. Grease the swage and portion of the magazine tube that will be utilized... and hammer it in. I got a cheap scope ring, which I used, but was causing the swage to get hung up at that point. Removed it, and went down to the shoulder. 1/4” brass punch to peen the detents, and the swage pulled out. Cleaned all the grease out of the tube, and you can see where they were, just barely feeling them with your finger. Took my stainless follower and spun it a few times around the dimple area... no issue. Did the same with the retainer, and nothing caught it. Being the extension should be here tomorrow, I just put the stock system back in and tightened the barrel nut down. I may take a Dremel to the inside to clean up the dimples, but if there isn’t any issue loading/unloading, might just leave it until I get it refinished. Outside looks normal.

1 pointIf it really bothers you use carb cleaner. Remember the gas pressure is pretty high there so you can't get a significant build up. I've only been shooting M16s/M4s/ARS fir almost 50 years so what can I know?

1 pointCalm down boys, this is going to be a negotiation. You want to enhance NICS? We want Reciprocal. President Trump won't sign your stand alone without us. Everything else, is hearsay, propaganda and Bullshit. Don't buy into it. get a bowl of popcorn and watch the show.

1 pointYou need to call them up and say that they need to support fix NICS even if they have to compromise and get concealed carry passed as part of it, you don't like it but you are willing to sacrifice for the greater good of background checks - tell them you're sacrificing "for the children."

1 pointThe time for squabbling between the 2A groups in our state is over! I for one, as a member of both NJCFO and NJ2AS I call on Alexader Roubian to apologize for any past discrepancies and unite with our 2A community for the common goal we all share! Alex, I was there with you on Sweeney's sidewalk, Carol deserved our support. The time has come for us to work TOGETHER with ANJRPC, NJCFO, NRA, SAW and all the other groups for our common goal. If you choose to act as a lone wolf in this cause, NJ2AS will be no more. Come together as one now or fade into obscurity! The choice is yours! As a member from the start with Frank, I vote we come together no matter the cost in pride! Otherwise, NJ2AS will become a Memory of a great cause gone bad!
