A clear plastic bag to work inside or at least a damn clean area where those %^*$ing parts will be easier to spot if/when they fly. And tape on tools or around strategic locations for less chance of marring. I followed instructions from ARFCOM (I think) and even my first one really only took 30-45 minutes going really slow and paranoid. It feels more intimidating that first time before you do one. After you're done, you question both "why was I so worried about this?", and "why didn't I do this way sooner?" Good luck

I think this is one of the videos I used when I was building mine. The guy shows you a few neat tricks to make the process easier. I didn't have to use a bunch of fancy tools either. I did buy a small brass and nylon hammer at HF though.

Get the ALG trigger to drop in instead of the one that came with the Lower Parts Kit. Tape around the lower when doing the mag release pin. Get used playing FindTheDetent.

Two of the most virulently anti-gun Democrats, Elijah Cummings and Elizabeth Warren, tasked the GAO with an investigation to prove a tired old Dem talking point: The ease with which guns could be obtained over the Internet. The investigation took two years (and untold tax dollars) and in 72 attempts they were unable to obtain one firearm. Doh! Here is a link to the article... http://www.wnd.com/2018/01/dems-learn-its-harder-to-buy-guns-illegally-online-than-they-thought/ When do you think we'll see this reported by the MSM? Nobody said.... Do the safety checks. Do the safety checks. Do the safety checks. Someone recently gave me a LPK with a bad hammer and the disconnector wouldn't work. Surprise, Surprise !!!

Change to Dawn dish soap. I have heard that other soaps will cause discoloration when drying if not completely rinsed. Seems the preferred method is a 9MM full of Lemishine to a 45ACP full of Dawn with warm to hot water. I have also heard those who rinse well after tumbling, separate from the pins and then let the brass sit in a bucket of hot water and Lemishine for 15 minutes to further retard tarnishing, before drying. My method is a little strange but I put my brass into sealed storage after cleaning sometimes. I tumble in a FA as well, using the above formula and warm to hot water. Maybe up to about 120F for 2-4 hours I watch the weight of the container as well because when I push to max it doesn't work as well. I rinse, fill again with warm water and tumble again for 15 minutes to make sure all the soap is out. Separate the brass from the pins and then into the dryer they go for an hour or until dry. I use a tray dryer I have or into the dehydrator works. From there they go straight into the tumbler loaded with half corn cob and walnut shells with 2 cap fulls of NU finish car wax. I do this to coat them and it gives the brass a smoother feel. They seem to work easier in the dies when loading. If I am putting them into long term storage I may vacuum pack them as well or they get put in a bag in a ammo can with desiccant, Slows down the tarnishing effect so I can reload them straight from storage later. Hope this helps.

The gun show loophole is the fact that there are gun shows. They're do something about that I'm sure... Then we'll all be safe.

Maybe. But I seriously doubt it. They are in the business to make money. Plus they are close to GFH and thus are their competition. Also I don't remember RTSP or GFH ever trying to "stay under the radar."

Yes, sites I've checked are currently taking pre-orders. I have the older version, which they discontinued, and I absolutely love it. Came with an RDS (Tasco, which I replaced with a Sig Romeo 5), a sling, and three 15 round mags. I believe even with the new laws we're expecting, it should be OK, except for the mags. BTW, I have six shotguns, all Mossbergs. Four are 500's in varying configurations, and the other two are a 590 A1 and a 930, which came with 18.5 and 28" barrels. FWIW, I have replaced the cheap plastic safeties on all of them with the enhanced metal ones.

Depends what you will be doing. There is a huge difference in what you can wear when you are being active, as opposed to siting in the cold stationary. Start with a good base layer. There are a bunch of companies that offer no-itch wool bases. I use Icebreaker, and like it so far after 3 years. Wicks moisture, keeps you dry and doesn't stink. NO COTTON! For active endeavors, you need something that breaths well, and gives you the ability to dump body-heat when needed. Synthetic insulation is fine here, fleeces, primaloft, thinsulate, etc. You never want to be warm, you just want to not be cold. READ - Sweat is bad. Stationary endeavors, down is king. I usually don't use down until it falls well below freezing. Biggest downside is that it looses warmth when wet, whether that is from sweat or rain. Also has to be windproof.

they should compromise and let us have standard capacity mags. and remove the stupid non-sensical "assault weapon" bs. that would be good compromise.

IF they wanna protest a coyote hunt.....we could always set it up the humane way. catch and release. we'll trap em where they're not wanted. then we can release them safely into the neighborhoods where these people that love these animals so much live.

This is the way I'd spruce up (or would that be "walnut up") my Shockwave. The guy used furniture off an old mossy. The only thing I'd add is checkering on the grip.
