3 pointsCapt14k I appreciate your kindness but remember he's a big boy & you don't have to "take rounds" for him The lack of an apology or PM w/ same speaks volumes. People here don't get charged by the character. He's free to write as much or as little as he wishes; to be as short or verbose as the situation deems necessary. As for me, I'm just growing tired of having to respond to general attacks & being lumped-in by dipshits' generalities. Nobody that I deal with wants to see a prolonged battle for the Second Amendment here in NJ so that they can profit from it. To anyone that thinks like that, F THEM, cause they're a cancer that this forum and especially those that call themselves patriots, DON'T NEED! For the record, I don't draw a salary and neither do any of us at the Coalition! It's a RULE in our corporate Bylaws. I donated way over $300 in reimbursable expenses just last year and became a Life Member doing so using just those "in-kind contributions". I've been at this several years, and have donated a huge portion of my reimbursable expenses every month. That's in addition to paying full price for any & every hunt or outing I run. Every Hog Hunt, Pheasant Hunt, Sporting Clays Tournament I've participated in for CNJFO! That's THOUSANDS of dollars! PLUS $500 or MORE in addition to that on all the apparel to build brand recognition, as I pay FULL RETAIL for everything I wear (just in-case some Schmuck goes down THAT road, lol)! Nobody has to kiss my ass & I'm not a Snowflake. But if someone could kindly take the knife outta my back around here, that be great....

3 pointsNothing I do is based on necessity. If that were the case my diet would be healthy, My big ass 8000lb Deisel truck would be a Subaru Forester, all my near 200 horse power motocycles would have been Vespas....you get the point. But My firearms are my insurance policies I get to play with. Therefore I expect them to far exceed my needs unless some day those needs become realities. With that being said, if you wanted to do some 3 Gun Heavy Metal division, I think the SCAR would be quite a contender.

3 pointsI got another one today from the home security company He asked my name, I said Donald Trump. He asked how running the country was going and how was everyone in the whitehouse. I said everything was just great running the best country in the world and my staff is top notch. I also told him everyone around me has guns so I don't need any more security. Then he said that Hillary Clinton gave him my number and asked me to call. I told him she is a lying bitch and should be hung as a traitor and he hung up on me again. Tomorrow it's going to be a super troopers theme. Meow sir

2 points"Also, a significant amendment to the bill was added at an Assembly Appropriations committee hearing on March 22 after ANJRPC Executive Director Scott Bach harshly criticized the measure during testimony and warned lawmakers that it would stimulate waves of litigation. The amendment would extend the current practice of exempting large capacity magazines that have been modified to accept ammunition up to the statutory limit. Prior to the amendment, the legislation would have forced gun owners to either destroy, surrender, or sell their magazines. While the amendment in no way makes A2761 acceptable (it should still be vigorously opposed), it does slightly mitigate the impact of the legislation on gun owners." Paraphrasing PK90 but just with a little more whooomp how in god's name does one go about permanently modifying a magazine to accept only 10rds when the same magazine was previously permanently restricted to 15 rds?

2 pointsi've already determined that i will not buy another pistol as a nj resident. if this shit goes through, i will then no longer buy a long gun as a nj resident. guess it's time to start looking for property.

2 pointsAs an FFL its not all that great. 1. Now you will have multiple people in the shop for a single firearm transfer. 2. Nics Delays mean storage problem when dealing with Nics back logs. 3. Issue of people bringing in a firearm that is loaded (yea it happens) 4. less time to help customers and give them the attention they deserve who are buying firearms while dealing with private transfers. The 25 bucks we charge for a transfer barely covers the hassle. As a 2nd Ad supporter not happy with this change. As a NJ FFL dealer i'm just as unhappy. The ramification of this law are yet to be seen... But i already know its going to be a shit show. OH FUCK YOU You can share PK's Fuck you as well LOL

2 pointsThanks for an answer to my question. From what I've read, there has been less than a handful that have been accused with "high cap mags". Now, out of how many gun owners in the state, over how many years, how many go shooting at the ranges over the state every week? I would guess there are quite a few "high cap" mags that go to those ranges. No one else could come up with another example. So, with hundreds of thousands of shooters, only a few have been busted. Sounds like we'd have better luck getting hit by lightning. My feeling is, it's to early to panic. Worse case scenario, we can use our 15 rounders all Summer until we have to comply by the Fall. Possibly longer if the Senate drags it's feet or some legal pushback slows the implementation of the law.

1 pointMay 11th is the last day to change party affiliation or to register since it is basically worthless voting for a republicans in this state everyone should change to unaffiliated so as to possibly vote against an incumbent. just have to declare at the voting booth. I do it every year than switch back to unaffiliated. It seems Menendez who represents the Cuban communities throughout NJ has a republican challenger Bob Hugen ,,, not sure of his views on our issues but it should be looked into, I cant seem to find a contact number but cant be any worse than menendez. any Dems who might want some representation in DC might want to consider unaffiliated and try to rid NJ of menendez.

1 pointBy that logic restrictions on the right of women and blacks to vote shouldn’t violate the constitution since they were in place before the Constitution was ratified to include them, or even existed in the first place.

1 pointThe State defendants moved to dismiss the ANJRPC suit on its face yesterday arguing it is foreclosed by the Third Circuit's decision in Drake. This was expected as the District Court must follow Drake; the Third Circuit will affirm that decision and once again we will be waiting to see if SCOTUS will agree to hear a right to carry case. Interestingly, the essential defense of "justifiable need" made by the State is that it has been around since 1924 and by that fact alone is a longstanding regulation exempt from reach of the Second Amendment. Its response to Wrenn is that the District of Columbia's "justifiable need" scheme was only adopted in 2014 and is therefore not "longstanding." That in my view is a very weak argument. If the right to carry outside the home is a core Second Amendment right, as Wrenn held, then the fact that NJ has been violating the constitutional rights of law abiding gun owners who wish to carry for 94 years does not earn it a pass going forward. No real attempt to reach the merits of the majority opinion in Wrenn.

1 pointI dont know how you dealers put up with the bullshit now...let alone more knucklehead shit coming. It cant be easy being an FFL. Support your local FFL!.

1 pointI always walk into the Elections Board in the days after the primary to change back to Unaffiliated. Easier than being woken from the dead just to vote in the General !

1 pointIf they ask for a card number I will say sure. Card number? 7 ummm, it should be 16 digits. Nope, my card number is just 7, I got this card early on. Trust me it's just 7. I have another card if you'd like. Okay, what is that number? e to the j*pi over four (e^(j*pi/4)) ummm, what? It's a complex number, it gives the card better crytographic security. eventually they'll get PO'd hang up.

1 pointNew rule should be 2 State. If you live in a lib state and wanna move you need to move at least 2 states over.. Libs vote to raise taxes and expand government power then move to the next state over with more freedoms and less taxes then vote for those exact type of policies again.. 2 state should give you 10 years

1 pointI doubt any FFL dealer will be doing anything for free unless its to make a political point or a marketing deal..It wont last long. Lets be serious for a moment. The increased traffic has a cost. The liability alone has a cost.. It would be more likely some dealers will just choose not to do those transactions.

1 pointLet them come and take them! That will clear out the towns coffers when they pay that lawsuit!

1 pointExcept of course, that (thanks to Obama's BATF !), short-barrel not-a-shotguns are legal today in 2018! (Mossberg 590 Shockwave & Remington Tac14.) See also Caetano v. Massachusetts: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caetano_v._Massachusetts Now substitute AR15/AK47 for "stun guns" in the first and second reasons in the opinion. (If reason #1 and reason #2 are true, then it follows Massachusetts #3 reason for banning actually supports private ownership of AR15/AK47s.) My guess is that the SC has been reluctant to address each and every bad 2A lower court decision that comes its way after 28 years of post-Reagan judicial appointments, because they don't have the time, and also because Kennedy has become a squish. Trump needs to appoint a couple more SC justices. And hopefully, three. Then the SC will (hopefully) smack all of this nonsense down.

1 pointMany dealers are loving the new proposed laws. Hopefully if it does pass they add allowing individuals to run NJ NICS without the dealers. If not I will not buy or sell a firearm to a NJ resident unless there is a dealer who will facilitate the transfer for cost of NICS only. Any dealer that does so will likely see overall business increase in spades. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

1 pointHad plans to move out of state for over 5 years, just had to finish out my obligations. Nothing to do with gun laws just want a better life for my daughter. I would move to NYC or california if it were better for her. In my opinion raising children in this state is setting them up for failure.
