WHEN WE'RE ALL DONE PISSING DOWN EACH OTHER'S BACKS, THERE'S STILL PATRIOT SHIT THAT NEEDS DONE! A forum is a great resource UNTIL ____________(fill-in the blank)! I'm planning a Sporting Clays fundraiser today that will expose Fudds to the Second Amendment scene. Anyone HERE interested in doing something where some one-on-one interaction can happen? Anyone wanna be a sponsor? A participant? Both? I feel the frustration, I really do! Now take that misplaced ENERGY & DIRECT IT AT THE ENEMY and NOT each other! Rosey

PA is out, Vermont is now out. Running out of states to retreat to. Stand and Fight.

Not sure if this has been shared here, but Steve Lonegan posted a video breaking Bob Menendez' balls regarding Bob's handling of an AR during a PR stunt: Long and short of it is that Lonegan is calling Menendez out for being a hypocrite and violating NJ gun law by handling a firearm (Menendez doesn't have a FID). Lonegan tried to file a complaint with the Essex County College police (where the PR event took place) so he's now going to the Essex county Prosecutor directly to have Menendez charged. Nothing will happen, but kudos to Lonegan for pushing the issue.

This states gun laws are built on hanging people on technicalities. So to dish said technicalities back to those creating them is justice in my book.

it goes beyond guns about me moving. I am tired working for "the man" and then getting raped by the gov't. I dont have kids, but pay $9k in taxes. NJ sucks! -Im no longer greedy.......time to find a cheaper place to live.

Synopsis: NJ Senate Democrats suck and don't give a rat's ass about "the people" They will continue to disarm and try to enslave us until either we or they are dead. And that, my friend, is the rest of the story.

Wait it is stupid for a potential politician to call our another active politician for breaking the law? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ THIS....

Stand and Fight fine let's Fight. Wait that won't work because few are willing to put their freedom on the line. This has been admitted by many on this forum. If those who go to the rallies won't fight how many do you think will? I got news for everyone complying is not fighting. So it's lawsuits and fund raising for those lawsuits. Also need to be able to buy politicians and protestors. The key to it all is money. If we dont at least attempt to raise real money then we will not win. If we can't raise real money we will not win. Chessman go fund me was at $10k last I looked. Let's face reality that is chump change. It will always be chump change if we are trying to raise $35-$100 at a time. Hopefully we can change this. If we can not raise real money I'm leaving, because there are far too few who are willing to stand and really Fight. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Because of a few things - Guns only being one of them..... Taxes - Quality of Life - Sanctuary Madness etc. The life that I saw in NJ 20 odd years ago and was able to carve out is untenable today for most. The State is dying and needs to completely crash and hopefully rise like a phoenix. Gun's? We do not have the depth of personnel to make a major move electorally in my opinion to thwart this onslaught. *Maybe* if the trend of engagement and filling the ranks continues, you have a chance 15-20 years from now to see changes - I will be 71 and long gone in 20 years. As I have stated, the battles being lost now are do to the apathy in my opinion of the last 20 or so years plus. The future of the state of NJ and the 2A in the state rests with the kids - without them it is done and not only here. Some will call it running, some will call it retreating - I think of it as a tactical redirection and consolidation of troops. But in the end, all this is means nothing, until there is an engagement by SCOTUS to rule and then those willing at a state level to sue to fight for their rights.

This battle was lost before it even started - you want to win future battles - you need to engage person to person to swell the ranks. The passivity over the years in the state has yielded this moment - it is a generational war and we are losing. How do you turn it around? Ask yourself this - when was the last time you introduced someone to shooting? When was the last time you wore your 'colors' without worry of being labeled or looked down upon? When was the last time you engaged someone who was talking out their kiester to set them straight? If you haven't done one or any of these things, your attendance at a rally means nothing. @Smokin .50 has the correct idea and is engaging where it matters - from the ground up. While others are fighting a higher tier battle. Yes we bitch we moan - some want it their way or the highway - you do know who you are - Zeke comes to mind initially. The losses we are experiencing today *ARE* the direct result of the apathy of those that came before us to engage at every level and NOT increasing the numbers as needed. This is solely a numbers game and we do not have the depth in the bench currently to play long ball against the heavy hitters. Best we try to play smart - while looking to the minors.

Way to endear yourself to forum members. While guns may be a big part of our lives, for most of us they aren't our whole lives. Considerations of our employment and spousal employment have to be considered. Quality of school systems and quality of life as regards to other interests all go into the decision of where to live. There are states that have less stringent laws and lower cost of living than PA, why aren't you living there? Adios, Pizza Bob

I don't think apathy is the sole reason people are not showing up or getting involved. There is plenty of apathy out there, but I think the silent majority is not apathetic at all, I think there are a multitude of reasons people with a vested interest are not getting involved. We just need to nail those reasons down. In sales, the way you make a deal is by overcoming objections. Price too high, quality not good, wrong color, too heavy, there are a million ways a deal can fall through. Successful salesmen are successful because they know how to overcome objections. We need to engage people and find out why they are not going to rallies, writing e-mails to elected officials and so on. More than half the people I know that have guns don't even shoot them on a regular basis. It's an uphill battle and we need soldiers who are also diplomats.

I am so glad you had asked this - ! Of all people two women from DUMBO ( I don't know if you know what that is but LIBS from down under the Manhattan Brooklyn bridge area) - moved up hear and they go to my church - I just hosted a lunch and learn for them and they had no idea how false the narrative was about guns and what the real 'news' is - They are now going to the range with me next month for a live fire and it looks like more, in their group want to learn more. So while this in no way makes me special at all - well it does..... JK

Please explain to us ignorant folks why this is a cheap stunt? I would say this is anything but a cheap stunt.

And you think you are the only one feeling that? People too dumb to realize those taxes are the result of democratic policies also move due to the pain, and then vote as they always have. Moving isn't going to solve anything, it will just delay it for you.

The AG was probably flooded with emails, phone calls and letters from assholes in New Jersey asking if they can carry in his state. He probably didn't even pay attention to it but the big mouths ruined it for the rest of us. Loose lips sink ships

This is what the State is using to try to push neighboring states to change their laws. NJ and Murphy are blaming PA and other nearby states (as well as a few further away) for all of NJ's gun crime. Not realizing that it's not an inanimate object committing the crime, but NJ criminals.

OK, here's more from the article: ...." “Restrictions may be placed on the categories of persons who may possess them, licenses may be required for their possession, and those licensed to possess them may be barred from carrying them in sensitive places, such as schools. But the absolute prohibition in [state law] that bars all civilians from possessing or carrying stun guns, even in their home, is inconsistent with the Second Amendment and is therefore unconstitutional,” the court said. " Sounds like they want to apply the same standards as handguns??

You see it as moving in the wrong direction because you cannot move - I am sorry for that - what it is in reality is people voting with their feet. I am also resisting and fighting by not succumbing to the whims of these politicians in NJ - I am taking my money and my family with me, as well as my tax dollars. You see it as giving up - I see it as crossing the lines to friendlies where we have a chance to survive, win and push forward. The consolidation of like minded individuals and the segregation of states from red and blue just may happen........in our lifetimes. Lastly, we all do what we have to do - my life is too short and precious to live under the yoke of oppression and shitty quality of life for the squatters and the pocketbooks of fat cat politicians.

I have relatively low experience carrying (approximately 3 years, with 2 firearms). I for one love my 1911...but I wouldn't want to carry it. That's me though, and different people are different. What works for me is a simple kydex holster, with an undershirt tucked in, and a t shirt on top. I don't find kydex all that uncomfortable. Other options have worked for other people. Certainly look for opinions on what other people have tried, but don't be afraid to buy a couple different types of holsters and try them out. Just keep in mind that you get what you pay for with holsters, don't go with any ebay/no-name brand.

Dunno about overwatering - we got over 1" of rainfall... https://www.scotts.com/en-us/products/lawn-food/scotts-step-1-crabgrass-preventer-plus-lawn-food HOW TO USE Apply when grass is dry. Set spreader: See spreader settings above for the appropriate setting for your spreader. For best results, use a Scotts® spreader. Product does not need to be watered in, but for best results, the lawn should receive 1/4 to 1/2 inch of water from rainfall or watering within 2-3 days after application.

Don't worry, PLENTY of people from NJ are moving to PA. Except they are mostly the mindless numbnutz who made NJ what it is. Enjoy your gun laws while they last.

Jobs with Higher Pay, Better schools, no "Philly A-holes". A lot of us would rather stand and fight for our rights than retreat. If you keep running away you'll run out of places to retreat to. Easy way for them to see it - quote their post and say you dislike it.

Mis-stamps at the factory is not an uncommon occurrence at S&W, and while it is a curiosity, it doesn't have much, if any, impact on value. The $85 letter is a service offered by S&W, by their company historian, Roy Jinks, to validate if collector Smiths are still in the original configuration and to whom/where it was shipped, not to correct factory errors. Put it out of your mind. Shoot and enjoy your revolver. Adios, Pizza Bob

Mismarked guns from the factory may command a small premium from collectors. There are people who collect mismarked guns. Keep it. No laws being broken I can see.

I'm not going to comment on calling people out. I've done it myself when I was younger & didn't know better. With age comes wisdom. I learned something yesterday at the NJGOP Summit. I learned I was doing something right! Volunteers want their volunteering to be both rewarding and FUN! You want to call a meeting? Figure-out how to make it FUN, and if you can, supply food or charge for it. Food & FUN bring it all together. Someone here wanted to know where lunch was before the Rally, so kudos to them for trying to keep it FUN! Some folks (everyone that I & others from 2A spoke to) at the NJGOP Summit were very interested in the 2A Rally, and some even drove to Trenton to speak & then come back to the Summit. Grass Roots is where it's at. The politicians are paying attention. BE THE CHANGE YOU'RE LOOKING FOR. LIVE IT, DON'T HIDE IT & KEEP IT A SECRET! Teamwork & attacking this beast from all sides is what it's about!

I run ELS/QLS and I LOVE IT. My wife and I share a pistol for matches and it's great being able to pop the gun/holster combo right off one belt and on to the other. no fuss no muss. It's very common, which means if your pistol goes down and there's a friend or just friendly person in your squad with ELS/QLS, you can swap their mag pouches and holster/gun onto your belt in a matter of seconds for a backup. Also, ELS affords you the ability to swap gear all around to be "mission specific" for particular situations. Since you may not always be using a handgun with your belt, you can also adapt other stuff with QLS to make use of that spot on your belt. I have a 8 shell caddy on a QLS (not ELS) clip so that if I'm doing a shotgun only stage/event I don't lose that spot on my belt. Highly recommended.
