When did it become OK in society to wear ripped jeans or ripped leggings or a t-shirt to a wake? Have I suddenly - at 35 - become an 'old' person? I went to a wake for a friend on Wednesday, and the things some people showed up in made me disappointed. I felt underdressed in dress pants and a dress shirt, instead of a full suit, but apparently some people felt it was appropriate to wear what might be appropriate to shop at Walmart to his wake. Not just jeans, but ripped jeans. Not just leggings/yoga pants, but ripped ones. Not just Tshirts, but some were stained/rumpled, like they were taken right off the laundry pile. I know *he* can't complain, but really? Show some respect for the guy when you come to pay your respects...

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy...” ― Alexander Fraser Tytler

This my collection. I travel a bit for business. Idaho, washington just required a stopin to the police HQ. Nevada and texas required training class in state. The rest are mail order. The only one i did not get was Michigan. It requires taking training in state as well. South Carolina is available if you own property there.

I am wondering exactly how many on that list have held a gun in a movie and were paid for it, how much they were paid, and if added up, if their pay tops what NRA lobbying was. And exactly how many of them are prepared to return that "dirty" money. Not donate it. Return it. I grow tired of people telling me what legal items I can't have because they don't like them. Even more so when they either profit from using those items in movies/TV, and/or when they themselves are protected by armed guards.

My opinion is that either they had no respect for him alive, or just didnt care to dress right. Like ok maybe not all of us has suits and ties but my family is a minimal dress shirt and pants and tie for wakes, When one of my family died had a couple come in dirty clothes. And it was like a total disrespect! So idk whats wrong with "ppl" these days. but probably the same reason why the world is turning to shit. Stupidity has bred unchecked. just my 2 cents. Too funny, that word takes me back to childhood. Fortunately for us, we had water tested by lab , it was clear except for low ph, treatment system covers that. We only drink bottled water here from day one.

Well, like no shit? He is the Governor of NJ, and its residents.. lol. Should someone remind him thats the point of his job? To represent the people in and of NJ. None of it changes the result of people leaving, and the taxes they take with them. Now, he just sounds like a bigger idiot. To be fair, most districts should be receiving state tax dollars for educaton. If you took the Newark Schools money received from the state and others and distributed it FAIRLY to all districts. that 70% would look more like 50%. The fact is, we pay for our own schools, and then we pay for all the abbots and the inner cities.

I’m sick of hearing him and all the other libs saying we’re getting a lot back for our money. We’re not getting shit back. Just look at our roads. It’s been a year since the extra gas tax was passed and we still have roads like the surface of the moon. Just talked to my buddy down in Virginia the other day. He’s got a 3 bedroom house on 6 acres next to a lake. Has all the city services we get here. He pays $2500 a year in taxes while I’m over here paying over 10k for similar house on an 1/8 of an acre

Failed field if that's indeed from the septic, as mentioned before. Specifically, it would fail the percolation test. The field no longer has the absorption rate necessary to sustain the system. They will need to move the field to an alternate location. This isn't something to sweep under the carpet, it's hazardous to you and your family and that's not acceptable.

I found the section on ham radio to be unbearable. Another series I really liked was the "One Second After" books written by William Forstchen. Much better writting than the Patriot series.

Here's my "home protection" dog, Brandy. She thinks she's a big dog so she'll bark at any unknown noises, but once she sees someone who is friendly she's most likely to want a belly rub. Otherwise, she'll run between my legs for protection. That's when I call her "Killer."

Old School... I though about calling town when I dug a hole last year to plant a tree, water filled with a rainbow colored sheen. ? Was out yesterday working near the wet mud, smelled like sh*t, no joke. Just might have to call the town.

Looking at those numbers it is highly unlikely there are a million Firearms owners in NJ. 250,000 who are not former or current law enforcement is more likely. The NICS and Handgun purchase permits are pretty steady each year and are likely the same 100,000 people. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Was involved in the process a few years ago at a property my then-boss was investing in/building on. Was a PITA cuz the dirt kept coming in dirty and had to be replaced like 3 times. You're in no rush, it seems, so thats a plus. Just make sure you use a reputable company, otherwise its your head on a pike if you have any issues. To be clear, i think he had some contamination issue or something.

They've already have this info on file. Based on the number that are "registered" (I.E. handguns.) It would take a minute to spit out the report. "There were 57,507 firearms registered in New Jersey, according to a 2017 annual report – up from 55,672 in 2016, 54,612 in 2015, 51,670 in 2014, 50,712 in 2013, 48,989 in 2012 and 46,605 in 2011." These additional "gun" laws are nothing more than political retribution. The new bills do nothing to keep the public safer - they are just punishing people that are not Democrats. From my observation the vast majority of firearms owners in NJ tend to be non-Democrat, not all but at least 90% plus. By punishing law abiding firearms owners (the opponent) they hope that some of them might decide to just leave NJ for more firearm friendly states - decreasing the number of those that might vote against them, therefore cementing political power. This whole magazine limit (especially with no grandfather clause) is political vindictiveness disguised as "public safety". Its all politically motivated, nothing more, nothing less.

I heard this on the radio in the car this afternoon and was shocked. So they won't deal with you if you sell high capacity magazines or sell to anyone under 21. So now in states where it is legal to sell high cap mags and sell long guns to adults that are 18 it is too F'ing bad - this is getting crazy. God help you if you won't bake a cake for someone, but this is ok? This country is totally messed up.

very sorry I pity the fool that wants to test that. My guess in a bad circumstance those dogs won't be as mush as you think. Bullmastiffs are famous mushes and in a crisis they become unrecognizable.
