I wunder what they put down as their justifiable need on the application.

OK..... Everyone needs to chill out. And what I mean by that is how we interact with each-other on this board. Yes.... this week SUCKED for us as far as our rights.... The fight is not over... There are already many new members looking for guidance on these new laws. Be nice.... Be Patient, they could be your next range partner... There are many current members that are confused on these new laws. We need to work together to discuss the definition of what these laws are, and what our future holds, and how we can help fight them. But attacking and being rude to each other because the other person might have a different take on the issue will get us no where. So EVERYONE needs to relax and start being nice to their 2A neighbor ...... if we cannot stick together, we have zero chance to do anything positive. Don't make me and my mod staff have to move and moderate threads on this stuff.....

Actually, I've always felt that it was a very impressive sight to see all the teams and officials lined up on pit road for opening ceremonies and the National Anthem. What other sport do you see that large of group?
  4. 3 points
Also notice, no one was kneeling on pit road during the National Anthem, like with another sport left un-named.

Does every NASCAR race start with a prayer to Jesus like the Iowa 250? If so I may have to learn to like it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

We are starting to get into to flash hider / brake arguments. If I buy a 10 round mag, listed as a 10 round mag, it’s a 10 round mag. but I’m currently not buying shit! Exclamation point

I just want to point out to all the people clamoring for "Safe deposit boxes" and "friends out of state" to hide their 15 round mags. Your 15 round mags are junk everywhere but NJ, and soon to be junk in NJ. If you're storing mags out of state why not just get regular, standard capacity magazines for you "out of state" address? They're like $10-11 each right now. All this hot air over junk.

I hope no one turns in their mags . FK murphy

The fact that there was a fight before the gun shots erupted and multiple weapons were found around the site makes me think that this is mis-labeled as a "mass shooting" and is, instead, something else.

suspected walmart robber tries to carjack two different cars. Both drivers pull out guns. One could carjack virtually every car in NJ without encountering an armed driver. This guy goes two-for-two with armed resistance, and is now in jail. I like that system better...

There's a lot of frustration going around. We constantly mock liberals for eating their own when the chips are down, so why would we follow their poor example? We need to promote cooperation now more than ever. There are a lot of things going on in the fight for 2A and now is not the time to chase off potential supporters. Together we stand, divided we fall.

99% of the time they show the prayer and the anthem, for all 3 series, NASCAR, Xfinity, and the truck series. Also for the most part the singer never butchers the anthem. Never saw anyone kneel and very rarely see anyone wearing a hat during the anthem.

Here you go..... EQUIPMENT WAS REGULATED: " shall with all convenient speed furnish himself with a good musket or firelock and bayonet, sword or tomahawk-, a steel ramrod, priming-wire and brush fitted thereto, a cartridge-box to contain twenty-three rounds of cartridges, twelve flints, and a knapsack, agreeable to the direction of the Continental Congress, under the forfeiture of two shillings for the want of a musket or firelock, and of one shilling for the want of the other above-enumerated articles"; also " that every person directed to be enrolled as above shall, at his place of abode, be provided with one pound of powder and three pounds of bullets of proper size to his musket or firelock." http://www.doublegv.com/ggv/militia.html

Team members have been told they would be immediately sent home and suspended by some owners if they kneel.

It would only be a bad thing if you got jammed up by the state for it. If this stupid 10 round thing does stick it's not all bad since I may see some 30s in my near future!
  21. 1 point
You make that sound like it's a bad thing.

    This is where exactly?!?

Jus buy 10/30 hexmags. But I’d wait. ill say this for you mag jumpers. Send $ equivalent of 1 mag to Anjrpc. Have some semblance of heart
  24. 1 point
Problem is, even if you blocked it to 10 rounds. The follower and 30 round style spring would allow you to remove the block and use it as a 30 round mag. It would not be permanent!

I do agree if you mean rifle magazines -- 15 rounds was an oddball limit that nobody else had. (Yes, Colorado has a 15 round limit now -- except it really doesn't, because it grandfathered old magazines.) However, for pistol magazines I'd prefer to keep the magazines that came in the box with the pistols. My daughter lives in America and she'll just be getting the magazines before she inherits the pistols. If she ever sells them, they will be worth more with the original magazines, original tools, original box and original manuals than without.

Are we allowed to shop at the Harbor Freight next door, or would that be an illegal deviation?

Depends what kind of gun. Stuff like AK, Mosin, SKS, pump and bolt action etc. why waste your time cleaning the action more than once every few years? Brake grease will last decades in there. I run a bore snake w/ WD40 through after the range trip but even that is probably overkill. No need to waste money and time on expensive cleaning products and fancy rituals. That said if you have something fragile, collector's item, etc. then care for it accordingly. EDIT: I've found the chrome moly (grey) brake grease to be the best lube. I have two firearms which are going on 9 years now without new grease in the action.

All things are relative. Showering too much isn't good, just like cleaning your guns too much isn't good. How much is too much? That Depends.

I’m just starting out myself so by no means am I an expert. But after researching I went with Safariland brand belt, holster and this holster hanger. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1016613589/safariland-uspsa-kit-adjustable-hanger-for-5198-holsters Haven’t used it in competition yet but holster drawing at home using my itarget setup I’ve found it very comfortable and was able to easily adjust position to where I like it.

Check out the USPSA rule book https://uspsa.org/viewer/Feb_2014_Handgun_Rules.pdf I think production Its appendix D 4 or 5, can't remember off the top of my head witch one is production. To answer your questions yes the holster and pouches need to be at or behind the hip bones and a maximum of 2" from the inside of the belt and for the gun the back strap can't be lower than the top of the belt.

The problem with the same scenario you give is there is no probable cause there. Using your logic a judge could also issue a warrant for "high capacity" magazines if you own just about any semiautomatic with a detachable magazine. Glickman 17, Beretta 92, etc. You obviously have never prepared an affidavit for a search warrant. I have on many occasions for federal and state judges in about 10 states. There is no probable cause in your scenario.

True about the Garand. That's why I chose my new Belgian Army Issued FN-49. I was just debating the other day about pre WWII bolt actions. I and a few others said the Enfield. It's faster and more accurate than any other except maybe the K31. Combined accuracy and speed I should say. I find the Finnish M/28-30 more accurate than the Enfield, but it lacks in speed. Black Tips in .308 are hard to find and expensive. Plus the extra power of the .30-06 could be a difference maker, but yes any .30 is better than .223. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Problem is we also have to shift the balance of power in the Legislature to even introduce (let alone pass) pro-2A bills (or, at a minimum, reversal of this crap) - which at the moment seems like a huge hurdle to overcome. Especially given the fact that the same Ds get elected cycle after cycle after f'n cycle in my district...

What I'd like to see published is the court depositions to show the rest of the country how a law abiding Joe goes to prison for 5 years on a technicality when a punk that commits armed robbery plea bargains the whole fact that he had and used the gun to rob away?

Imagine if Missouri had a law that it was a felony to have a red pen in your left pants pocket and having a red pen in your left pants pocket was an automatic 3-1/2 to 10 years in prison. Would you research pen carrying laws before visiting Missouri? I wouldn't think to do so. It's too silly to think that carrying a pen would be illegal. NJ's laws are that silly to the rest of the country. They don't fail to learn our laws as much as they just never imagine that such ridiculous laws could even exist.

National Reciprocity is a campaign promise that has been utterly broken by the Republican Party. They had majorities in the House, the Senate, and a sitting President, and they said they would do it when they ran for office, and they got elected, and they didn't do it.

Because he promised the world to a lot of people.....none of which he, or the State, can afford. Gun legislation, on the other hand, costs nothing.
