3 pointsIsn’t this old news? We knew the district court denied the appeal and ANJRPC has already filed to the US Court of Appeals. Not sure the NJSC has anything to do with it since it is a federal case.

3 pointsMrs. Peel nailed it! I have believed exactly this for a long, long time. Those who value independence, personal responsibility, liberty, and freedom are independent thinkers. We're so independent that we can't even work together. Those who fear independence, personal responsibility, liberty, and freedom are looking for someone to tell them what to think, what to do, and how to feel. It's easy to organize and lead those on the left. It's impossible to organize and lead those on the right.

3 pointsExpect longer lines at the post office on Dec 9... If we tell the clerk the box contains only magazines, will it qualify to ship at the cheaper book rate?

3 pointsMy understanding is it is likely the only way* unless you work as an armed guard. If you do not know any politicians and judges, and have not helped significantly fund their campaign and/or lifestyle, then I suggest you get proof of actual, valid threats. You still won't qualify (yet) until you are actually murdered, at which point you may qualify. You may need to be murdered 2 or 3 times before NJ will actually issue you one. *not including the people who have already been murdered, who might only now qualify for getting one.

3 pointsThere really is no reason for a pistol purchase permit any more now that FTF sales have been effectively banned. FTF sales was the only rationale left for needing to go through a background check to get a PPP. With that gone all handgun transfers are subject to background checks at the dealer, so the PD check is now officially needless redundant bureaucracy that is wasting police resources and tax payer money. Anyone want to file a lawsuit?

2 pointsPeel you're more stimulating than a cattle prod! Interesting how (almost) everybody is answering the dollars part of your (welcomed by at least ME) diatribe but not the doughnuts part The opinionated keyboard commando always has the best answer, the ONLY answer that will solve whatever problem is being ban-tied about. Too slow, too little, too late is still better than whatever they've personally done (which is nuthin' or next to it in most cases). The "Us"-ers need to learn to work TOGETHER for a common good instead of stepping on their own schlongs (oh do they really think they're THAT long?)! Our side starts-out every day at an extreme disadvantage. We trot-in to the field of battle wearing our blaze orange and get picked-off one at a time by snipers. We fight "fair" instead of "dirty", and we even argue about what "fair" IS.....and it's got to STOP! Keep beating them over their heads until they squeal. We need to vote this mid-term!

2 pointsIT SHOULD END RIGHT THERE!!! CASE OVER!!! its like Comey playing out the case for Hillary and concluding the complete opposite of the facts just stated! So tired of these liberal democrat wipped judges setting/legislating policy.

2 pointsRecommend listening to the 10/07 American Armed Radio podcast. The guest in the first hour is Allen Gottlieb, head of the 2nd Amendment Foundation. He has stated in the past, and mentioned again in the above podcast that: You need four SCOTUS votes to grant cert but 5 to Win. Ie "If you don't have the 5 votes to win, you won't get the 4 votes to grant cert." As mentioned in prior posts, this is to not risk an unfavorable decision becoming the law of the land forever. Hopefully, we will now start seeing 2A cases get Cert. Mr. Gottleib also stated the SAF has two cases awaiting cert during the current SCOTUS calendar. So they may the first ones to watch.

2 pointsIt is time for us to start attacking on every front and every issue, not just mag limits how about bayonet lugs, flash hiders, suppressors, how many non-prohibited lawful constitutional following gun owners in NJ utilized a fixed bayonet to commit a crime, I'll bet a years salary that the number of NJ politicians that committed felonies is higher. How about transporting, hollow points, FFL out of your garage, stand your ground.....the list is endless

2 pointsThey have financial backing that we don't. Many Groups won't take money from the Koch Brothers. Stupid if you ask me. They are funded by Soros and Bloomberg. That is the answer right there. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

1 pointHere's my perspective on US (the 2A community) vs. THEM (the gun control types): US: We're fiercely independent. And so, we squabble. We argue about the 2A. We argue about the 1A. We argue about whose guns (ammo, holster, etc.) are better. We complain about the various 2A orgs. We complain they don't file enough lawsuits. When they file, we complain it's too slow, too little, too late. We refuse to give enough money to fund the lawsuits that we say we want. We don't pony up with enough volunteer hours. We get snarky when they ask for our time or money. We're impatient for results. We insult and tick off the people doing the heavy lifting. We're playing a short game. THEM: They work together. They demonstrate a lemming-like level of cooperation. They put "mission first", all else second. They shut down or expel doubters. They happily peddle in false studies and misinformation if it moves them towards the goalpost. They keep a "big picture" view. They are relentless. They recruit the young aggressively. They exploit crime victims shamelessly. They band together even when it's not their fight. They're playing a long game. Case in point... with the MESS that our state is in financially and every other way, our governor took the time to direct his attorney general to file a "friend of the court" brief re: that carry case in Hawaii. Just think about that for a minute, pls! Our state is going broke, we have a state pension system that is unsustainable, the highest taxes in the nation, the most congestion, a crumbling, inadequate infrastructure... and yet, the long arm of OUR attorney general (paid for by OUR tax dollars) is being used to manipulate a case happening in a state nearly 5,000 miles away. As a taxpayer, if that doesn't tick you off... then I have no words. Don't kid yourself, THIS is why they're making progress! https://bearingarms.com/tom-k/2018/10/02/anti-gun-states-gun-grabber-groups-band-together-fight-pro-gun-decision/

1 pointDarwin.. this country has shifted so far from personal responsibility it’s pathetic. What’s more pathetic is that some feel they are special, should be more free, or tell others how to live their life.. and what they need.. Unsafe behavior at a range calls for removal... if it cannot be corrected. Work one for a day

1 pointno doubt I'm sure, practice and familiarity breeds improvement however, a nice solid and heavier piece in your hand will be more forgiving on the recoil impulse. There is a reason each SEAL squad shoots more in a year than the entire Marine Corps however, I'm not shooting 50k 38/357 to get that level. Now AR or 9mm, different discussion hornady makes some excellent 38sd ammo. I'll check what I have and report back but recall during my research, this was considered the best for that particular round

1 pointBubbaj, that is quite a collection of fishing gear! Can you post a pic? Would love to see how you have your 4,500 rods and reels stored and organized.

1 pointG43 IWB. If not on me it is in the center console next to me. Have a couple of extra mags in the console as well. Gonna feel very naked when I come north for Thanksgiving.

1 pointI have some i just picked up, will try it on my glock mags and report. Will be pissed if all my 15s become 9s. The block may need to be shaved down a bit.

1 pointOut of state dealers only have one obligation to follow the laws of another state. Federal law permits a FFL to sell a long gun to an out of state resident if the sale would be legal in both states.
-
1 pointThere is NO CCW permit in our state regardless of your profession! Thank the Democrats and Bob Viden in Glassboro for that! Think about that @Lambo2936 before you visit his shop!

1 pointOne of the biggest fails in this country is when Congress failed to pass a bill in the 1980's to make English the official language. This country would look entirely different today if that had happened. This fail is in large part the reason many people no longer assimilate into our society.

1 pointHA! I'm not sayin' give up the fight! NO WAY, NO HOW! I just merely stood-up for us old coots that still shoot the Holy Black. Someone posted a pic saying, in effect, "NJ will be happy when all we have is black powder". Then I identified the rifle in question. THAT's ALL I DID, so apologies if I "TRIGGERED" you, lol! Here's a peek into my head: It is better to know HOW to use something, even if you don't own it, so IF the need ever manifests itself you'll KNOW instead of not knowing. Analogy: You're at the range and someone new to black powder is shooting close to your lane/port. He/she does something that puts everyone at risk--like leaving a can of powder or a powder measure at the firing line were an errant spark from a discharge could mean trouble (an explosion on the firing line). If you KNOW what NOT to do (even though you don't own a black powder firearm) you can chat with the shooter & schmooze the potential risk away w/o making a scene. Maybe even make a new friend that lets you shoot his/her gun (so you have all the FUN & none of the MESS that black powder is known for)? Another analogy: Shooter has a new-to-them M-1 Garand & isn't sure how to load a clip into the rifle OR how to load loose ammo into an en-bloc clip. Gets the clip into the rifle W/O HELP but gets light hits on the primers & rifle no go BANG. You chat him/her up and watch them load another clip, and when they do so the gun's Op Rod is operated slowly as the first round is chambered. Like they're actuating a bolt gun. Even if YOU don't own one, you've correctly diagnosed the trouble as operator error. Not letting the Op Rod slam home means the extractor hasn't fully seated over the case, and the bolt face is a tiny bit away from the case when it's "in-battery". The "fix" is to show the owner how to "slap that bitch so it behaves" and the extractor engages & jumps-over the rim of the .30-06 cartridge so the firing pin can do its' job. Welcome to the world of being me, a Chief Range Safety Officer. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

1 pointIt's not Diversity that's killing the country, it's Divisiveness. Diversity is simply the representation of multiple races/colors/creeds/religion/etc. When most people think about guns, they think about old white guys holding up Garands saying "get off my lawn". You go to a gun club meeting - what do you see there? Mostly old white guys. Tony's Diversity shoot brings out everyone. Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, Gay, Straight, Vegan, whatever. Whatever brings more people into shooting, I get behind fully. I normally go and run a port - bringing some fun guns for people to try out.
-
1 pointThat doesn't matter. They know they can ram it down our throats, the fudds still won't care (can't use more than 3, who needs 5?), and when the traitorous lower courts fuck us again, they know it'll be years before they get bitchslapped back to 10. In the meantime, they'll make sure that a few otherwise law abiding gun owners end up arrested and in jail for 7 years for "high capacity magazine posession", life ruined, and unable to own firearms again. The guy who breaks into a house and rapes someone is safe though, he gets a year and probation.
