I'm reading it as ANJRPC made an appeal regarding the injunction to the third circuit. They also filed with the third circuit for injunctive relief. This request for injunctive relief was denied without prejudice. They are saying that this may mean that the denial is due to the appeal as a whole being adjudicated prior to the 12-10 deadline. If you have a law that will affect a group of people, and a suit is brought against the government, it is the norm that injunctive relief is granted until that court case is sorted out if there is demonstrably a potential to harm the class of people bringing suit. Even in California, they grasp that a magazine ban fits this pattern very well. But NJ courts are basically cronies of our criminal class politicians in NJ so they don't use the normal legal standards for such things. The third circuit will probably not protect us in the least unless they see their reputation being harmed now that SCOTUS composition has been changed. However, they SHOULD see that forcing people to destroy or permanently alter their property is material harm and deserves injunctive relief until you prevail or lose in court. I'm assuming the 3rd being the 3rd, they will assume lose. They should also view the concept of injunctive relief as a legal tenant that should be protected as much as possible as it overwhelmingly does more good than harm. None of that should be expected from NJ courts.

That is a joke of a rifle. Century just takes advantage of buyers who have no knowledge of AKM's.

Tony Simon is actively working on moving the Diversity Shoot to various venues. Some of those may be outdoors, I'm not sure. I do know he's been approached to run more than one out of state. As details become available I'll try to remember to post here. Rosey

All is good. Owner/builder of the property is going through divorce. This is a restructuring for protection. Once settled range will be open in a few months. First floor first than second floor. Anthony.

If you get serious about shooting precision you will start reloading. If you start Reloading you won’t be shooting 5.56. It will be 223. I have not seen very many recipes for 5.56 ammo. The differences between the two, are essentially the 5.56 is higher pressure. I believe there is a slight difference in the shoulder dimension on the case that would be difficult to see with the naked eye. The 5.56 chamber has a different angle or leade, at the start of the rifling. That’s about it. I don’t know any precision shooters using 5.56.

Hi All: New shooter here. Have wanted to take up shooting for a while and my wife finally nudged me enough to do it. Have taken some courses thru my local FFL dealer, certified NRA trainer. Recently purchased and picked up my first handgun- Beretta APX 9mm FDE. Love it! Waiting for 30 days to be up so I can pick up my second, .22 M&P Compact. The .22 will also be the gun that my wife and 10 year old son will shoot, after they both complete their training courses. Shooting for sport and the fun of it. Steve

At least we now know why the addition has not opened yet. Whatever the problems are, I hope they resolve soon. Sure are enough customers eager to get in there.

Remember back in like 2007 when people were saying this? The AR-15 was a $2,000 delicate toy, and the $350 AK imports we're being called cheap junk. As the panic buying ended and economies of scale ramped up, new companies making AR-15 parts and rifles, the guys who had bought in at the two grand price point jealously thumbed their noses as the prices hit $1500, $1200, under 1k, when S&W and Ruger got in the market too and things started to dip under $800, and now here we are with $400 specials. And many of the same guys are still trashing those builds despite them being more than plenty for a day at the range or home defense. Meanwhile with the AK, we saw sanctions on Russia stop the cheap Saiga $319 blank slates (oh how I miss those days) and then the VEPR. The import restrictions and lack of US tooling and mfgr let the AK somehow become the expensive toy. The AK platform is all about reliability and durability at an inexpensive cost. This was a firearm designed in the Soviet Union for mass productions. I've changed the gas and sight blocks on AKs with a sledge hammer and a block of wood. I can convert a Saiga in my sleep. I do these things not because I'm some expert, it's because it really is that easy. All it would take is a little supply and demand to make it worth it, and a company could certainly make money on a $400 AK. You can fold the receivers on a harbor freight press, it's not some special CNC mill. Just need some quality US barrel and trunions forged is the main obstacle. If companies are making money on $400 ARs, which have more parts and require far more intricate tooling among much tighter tolerances, it can certainly be done with the much simpler AK.

Seems to me Thomas Obeirne is just looking to screw all his friends on this woodland park gun range project. So his wife leaves him and he gets to screw his friends out of millions of dollars.?? If he was truly hurting financially as he proclaims to be, then why doesn’t he sell one of his $4 million mansions? Or his $160,000 GT Mercedes? Or his sausage factory he owns ? If he’s not in poor financial condition then why did the gun range building file bankruptcy and screw all of his friends ? He certainly has the money for attorneys since he’s fighting everyone who is suing him. And as Anthony says , the new addition is going to open soon. Great ! What about all of the contractors who are owed money ? I guess they get wiped out in the bankruptcy? Gotta love the legal system here in jersey.

Unfortunately for you guys I am no longer with the company, I put my 2 weeks in and my last day was this past Friday. Primary factor was the commute plus some other small things. Good company but not what I need in my life right now I'm back at my family's business where I can bank as much money before the wedding so I can get out of state and work for another firearm company with my experience Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I like to pass on info of good companies that stand behind what they make. I purchased an inexpensive Wheeler gun smithing screwdriver set not too long ago. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/297593/wheeler-engineering-28-piece-space-saver-gunsmithing-screwdriver-set On the first usage, the magnet fell out of the driver. Not a big deal, as I have many magnetic drivers. Last week, a bit was bent whilst removing a stubborn screw in my Marlin 336. An email to Wheeler, with just a few back and forths with a rep and a few pics, got me a complete replacement set within a week. I only requested the replacement bit. That is great customer service.

While on the topic of cars. The CRV is excellent, but ...... My 2010 Scion xB is currently at 215,000 miles without a single repair. Ever. All I do is change the oil, filters and replace tires and brakes. It is a Camry 2.4L drivetrain under a boxy body. I recommend the xB as great car to all who will listen. They stopped making them a few years back. If they still made it, I would buy another. It will go to my soon to be 17-year-old son.

    You and the Grand Prix

Tell him to buy a Pontiac Grand Prix. 3800 Series 3 (04-08) V6 engine is damn near indestructible. Huge trunk. Plenty of inexpensive low miles ones around if you look. I consider low mileage for these cars anything under 100k. Properly maintained ones will easily last another 100 - 150k. Cant say enough good tgings about my Grand Prix. If he's set on that particular car then I second checking out Enterprise car sales and other rental agencies that sell cars. The cars should have been well maintained. I've heard good things about buying this way. Good luck.

It’s a right, not a privilege. You may not like it GnC, but you don’t get to choose who gets to exercise their rights and who doesn’t. They people get to choose for themselves. Pretty cool how that works, huh? Maybe if more people owned and carried guns in N.J., and maybe if there was an actual established gun culture in N.J., everyone would have a better idea on how to act around firearms. The four firearms safety rules would be common knowledge like cross at the green and not in between and don’t eat yellow snow. Imagine if growing up in a gun friendly house and being raised by enthusiast parents didn’t make you a social pariah. Imagine if schools had hunters ed alongside drivers ed and a shooting team - clays, bullseye, 3 Gun - alongside basketball and baseball. It’s funny. Those same people drive, marry, have kids. Each of those things is infinitely more prone to causing death, injury, and disaster. Yet the “idiots” miraculously seem to manage. I wonder why? Probably because they are surrounded by those that know what they are doing. Because these things are commonly practiced, commonly accepted, and everyday topics of discussion without fear of repercussions. Maybe we should take time to teach people at the range instead of bitch about how unsafe they would be if they were to exercise their rights.

It's not Diversity that's killing the country, it's Divisiveness. Diversity is simply the representation of multiple races/colors/creeds/religion/etc. When most people think about guns, they think about old white guys holding up Garands saying "get off my lawn". You go to a gun club meeting - what do you see there? Mostly old white guys. Tony's Diversity shoot brings out everyone. Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, Gay, Straight, Vegan, whatever. Whatever brings more people into shooting, I get behind fully. I normally go and run a port - bringing some fun guns for people to try out.
