@Ray Ray given the fact we're NJ gun owners and are by legislative fiat already criminals, I'd keep 'em!

But won’t that require common sense and a reasonable thought process? Come on now.

You never know with today's SCOTUS how these decisions will be made. If I were a liberal on the third... I would establish grandfathering and then allow the law the stand. Otherwise, the entire thing is headed to SCOTUS and if accepted will be shot down.

We could easily solve this mess if we moved election day from November to April. You would vote on a form attached to your tax return. If you wanted to vote early, you would send in your tax return early. Problems solved.

They also didn't find a missing bag of ballots at the last minute like Broward did.

There is no reliable 1911 magazine that is see through. Stick with proven mags made from stainless steel such as Wilson Combat or CMC.

And Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro would sooner see gun owners burned at the stake than protect the Second Amendment rights of those who choose to exercise them.

Wow... rough crowd... You guys just have bad luck, or maybe it's that dark cloud that follows all you guys around. I've ordered a bunch of things from CTD (mags, accessories, optics, etc.) over the years and NEVER had a issue. So all I can say is:

There are so many pitbulls being put down! Just makes me sick, 55K for a prestige dog! Rescue pitts will love and protect you! Get a rescue!

The cynic in me says that no one would leave behind 2 guns like this unless: They were just used in a murder and purposely left behind. -or- I was being set-up by the man
  16. 1 point
This would be more accurate if you said Charter Arms.

I ain't turning in the guns. I can trade 'em on the streets for some untraceable gats!

respectfully, you guys are too much. With the exception of Lambo, you guys roll over when one of our forum members puts a wts up with a firearm way out of market ($800 sps, $700 psa, other such ridiculous priced items) much less companies like psa, aim, etc that have issues sending perfectly legal goods to NJ. Seriously, tuck your ballsacks back into your panties, get some perspective, and stop being retarded love you all:) I get more irate that you've got assholes on this board trying to gouge from fellow members and you guys say FKING ZERO

It should be noted that if the firearms in question are a hi-point and a kel-tec, they get turned in with everything else.

It’s not public or made yet. Next step for either party is to appeal for en banc.
  23. 1 point
That's a really good question. There are laws about abandoned property. I wonder if you turned it in, tried to contact the previous renters if you could ever keep the firearm. If we can legally own it, nobody claims it, and it was not used in a crime, why not?

Problem is, it's working. It's changing "hearts and minds" even of those that say that they're pro gun. Most likely it won't pass this time. However it won't go away. It'll get used as a tool to reshape the mindset of America as a whole.
  26. 1 point
You don't deserve them if you forget them in a rental. The kids will be safe, because I'll keep em safe... Ha. My gripe is the legality.... I'd Be way to scared to take them anywhere, which makes owning them pointless.
  27. 1 point
Absolutely. This happened in Parsippany over the summer. It's not just guns. Rentals are often used for drugs. Although it wasn't a rental, I personally know of a situation where the cop saw just one seed on the seat and it gave him cause. I check the whole thing out. Under seats, glove box, trunk everywhere. Not to mention (if you know what to look for) bed bugs too.

Go ahead and apply, other than spending time and money I’m not aware of any “penalty” for applying. You must meet this standard: ”...in the case of a private citizen, shall specify in detail the urgent necessity for self protection as evidenced by specific threats or previous attacks which demonstrate a special danger to the applicant’s life that cannot be avoided by means other than by issuance of a permit to carry a handgun. ...” What’s the specific threat you’re facing right now? Be *specific*. Got any documentation to back that up? Were you previously attacked? Got that documented? What is the special danger to your life right now? Is there *NO OTHER WAY* you can avoid the specific threat? This is not a joke - previously a court told an applicant to move his area of business operations or hire an armed security guard rather than issue a permit. To be clear, I’m not defending this at all, but this is the standard that NJ applies to make it nearly impossible to qualify for a carry permit.

I don't believe she is. In the event she wins, likely, if she should deviate from state law I will happily, have committed the funds, fund the lawsuit against her. How many missing ballots are ever republican votes? That's normally 0 especially in Coward county.

I'm pretty sure the grendel was based on a .220 russian as well. I like plinking with x39 but even handloaded for precision who makes good brass? What bullets are available? For fun I get it but I'd go with any 6 or 6.5 or a 30BR for anything more "serious". I could be wrong--as usual. @Old School don't make fun of me.

Not in jeopardy because she doesn't decide them the AG does but she would administer them and potentially make them a pain in the ass. I've already committed funds to a local group for the first law suit if she should try to impose her will. It'll be worth every penny and you can't take it with you.

It's just the tumor that is New Jersey trying to spread. It will never fly. Even if it passed the House under Dem control, the Senate will never pass it! "assault weapon" must be defined in plain English in the bill. The AR15 is NOT an assault weapon and current law already prohibits possession of an assault weapon without jumping through many hoops! Assault weapon = Weapon the military generally uses and has "select fire capabilities," or the capability to switch between semi-automatic or a fully automatic mode.

A lawyer runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a sheriff. He thinks he's smarter being a big shot lawyer from New York and has a better education than a sheriff from West Virginia. The sheriff asks for license and registration. The lawyer asks, "What for?" The sheriff responds, "You didn't come to a complete stop at the stop sign." The lawyer says, "I slowed down and no one was coming." "You still didn't come to a complete stop. License and registration please," asks the sheriff impatiently. The lawyer says, "If you can show me the practical difference between slow down and stop, I'll give you my license and registration and you can give me the ticket. If not, you let me go and don't give me the ticket." The sheriff says, "That sounds fair enough, please exit your vehicle." The lawyer steps out and the sheriff takes out his nightstick and starts beating the lawyer with it. The sheriff says, "Do you want me to stop or just slow down?"

Kansas, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana and Wyoming. California is coming to Arizona via legal immigration. Look no further than your Senate race in which a woman who was the first ever fighter pilot that can sing was defeated by a condescending cunt who couldn't stand her own citizens.

I wanted to share this option since it appeared things had gone quiet in recent weeks regarding what options are available. Each of us will have to decide what is best for our own situation. E.g. do nothing, bury them, have them modified, store them out of state at a relatives house, use Gunsitters, destroy and discard them, safe deposit box out of state, boating accident, and so on. Some options are legal, some are not. Pick your poison. And yes, this whole situation really sucks.
