Ive been seeing a lot of negativity on here lately and a lot of doom and gloom. I get it, the losses we endure are tough. Maybe you just need a place to vent, I'll even grant you that. But all it is really doing is lowering morale. All it does is foster an attitude that any hope is futile. This is not how we get things done. I see people taking action to fight the good fight, and then I see armchair warriors criticize the way someone else fought their battles. Imagine if the people who argued Heller never brought the suit because they were constantly told its pointless. Its not gonna be easy. Hell, itll be damn near excruciating difficult. But imagine if just a fraction of all the gun onwers in this state started doing their part, no matter how small. Taking new friends to the range. Donating to organizations that actually fight for our rights. There is a lot of ignorance and education is the best cure. I'll tell you what wont work. Throwing up our hands in defeat.

I expect them to pass all sorts of inane shit in the house with the knowledge they won't have to face the consequences of it passing in the senate. They don't want it to pass, they just want to craft bullet points for negative campaigning.

I love the part about the cops being different as the have "Extensive" training. Fuck that. We hire them. I know thousands of people with more training that 90 % them. Fuck this state. Fuck you democrats.

When did we replace” infringe “ with “ un due burden “

Your standards are too high. I have been tracking PSA's Freedom Rifles for quite some time, and yanno what, they work, they are also fairly high rated. They are not SPRs, they are not DMRs they are not Daniel Defense. What they are is basic reliable build kits for a 3moa or better rifle. Good 'nuff fer gubbernment work.

That’s my point. Where is it legally defined what “burdened” means when it comes to rights. Or “infringed” for that matter. The majority opinion is that the right is not burdened because there are other mags that can be used. You can’t prove them wrong because there is no consistent definition. Similarly you can’t say the dissent is correct for the same reason. It’s all interpretation. It would be nice if things were consistent. Hate speech is protected because banning it is burdening 1A, voter ID is a similar burden. But mag limits and the cost of compliance is not? Makes no sense but there is no legal backstop.

Unlike the shit-ass situation locally, Democrats going wild at the federal level will just help P-Trump get re-elected in 2020. This way he can nominate more federal judges, which in our situation, is our only hope...Go House Democrats! Ban everything, investigate everything, you are doing great!
  9. 2 points
Certainty is when you consider they say it's a burden to get a voter id card.

Which is why this battle of ours will NEVER be won at the voting booth and the ballot box. But, everyone, keep showing up every two years, dreaming, and pull the lever for the "R" guy, because maybe NEXT time it will be different...

Tbh good price for a modern day musket! If it helps more people incorporate themselves to the platform the better! The patriot can always upgrade from this.. and if this ridiculous price helps them , awesomeness!

Yes, as much as I absolutely hate the 10R limit, personally, banning internet ammo sales (for me) would be a lot worse. California passed a similar law, NRA filed suite, I think the NRA had some intermediate wins, and some loses, don't know the status of the suit now...Of course it violates federal interstate commerce laws, but if it gets litigated by mostly lefty judges in district and appellate courts that will matter little, no matter what Chief-Justice Robert's says about "no Obama-judges, no Trump judges" - lol...Our 10R suits is a perfect example of this. ANJRPC presented a fine case, and after listening to the audio of the Appellate hearing yesterday, I'd say, our lawyer did a fine job, so the few who want to bitch about the failure rate of law suits (because of "our" lawyers) are bitching up the wrong tree (there isn't a lawyer on the planet that will change the mind's of ideologues)....Hope? We got a glimmer of it with Judge Bibas dissent and as P-Trump keeps appointing federal judges over the next 2 years, and if re-elected next 6 years, this should make a difference. We can thank Obama for his intrinsic-laziness leaving so many open federal slots to be filled.

Kilroy Was Here (one of our freelance writers) did a great job with this piece, written from a true Patriot's perspective: GUN-GRABBIN' INCREMENTALISM INFECTS NJ OWNERS! NJ DISARMING ITSELF BY COMPLYING WITH BAD LAWS! by Kilroy Was Here special to Black Wire Media Dec. 4, 2018 www.cnjfo.com/join-us "THEN THEY CAME FOR ME--AND THERE WAS NO ONE LEFT TO SPEAK FOR ME". We are entering perilous times in the State of NJ and the state of our nation – and world - as a whole. As we peer into the unknown and the liberal mandate of using the correct speech, so as not to offend - one has to wonder how we got here. One needs to look no further than Great Britain to see what may unfold if we – as American Citizens and Patriots, take a back seat. How did we get to a place, that the dialogue of opposing ideas, the epic oratory battle to express one’s beliefs in an open and free environment, is being stymied? Stymied for fear of offense by those that feel they are ushering in some sort of utopian dream where there is no animated contest for freedom – the freedom to seek life liberty and the pursuit of happiness – the zeal to excel as best one can. They feel it is better that we all get participation trophies for just showing up, instead of reaching for the top spot, and even if falling short – we are uplifted by the struggle. Stymied by those that would seek to remove your ability to defend yourself and your family from bad actors – or evil men with evil, horrid plans – they suggest that we embrace the state, they say we will protect you from evil and protect you from your words and the words of others. However, they sing it loud and proud – “ If you have a gun in your home I think you are pretty stupid” - They are truly ushering in a dystopian nightmare if allowed to continue. Theodore Roosevelt is quoted as saying: "Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat." – the liberal bastion is creating a generation bound to live in the gray twilight of life. Recently, someone I know was flagged for hate speech by the liberal children at Facebook for speaking in unison with a ‘friend’ that is also a 2A strong gun rights advocate. The post centered around the holocaust and the ‘friend of the friend’ made a statement that the holocaust should not happen again and better to perish in a pile of hot empty brass than be pushed into a sidecar. Somehow that is hate speech – somehow that is not in keeping with the liberal mindset of victimhood – somehow, I wonder if the liberal children at Facebook trying to usher in the utopian dream by censorship, even know, or even believe what happened in the Warsaw Ghetto. Today in NJ we are seeing a leadership in Trenton that is part of this dystopian nightmare. Part of the culture of state control, part of the culture of censorship and limiting the rights of citizens to defend oneself and to be free to exercise rights as enumerated in our beloved Constitution. They are now encroaching heavily on our right to keep and bear arms, limiting our ability to defend one’s home, our communities and our nation – from all enemies foreign and domestic. Can a parallel be drawn to the control push in Germany in the 20’s – 30’s that is still heavily debated today as a cause of, or support of the holocaust? Possibly, and I would err on the side that if those that were being targeted, had the means and where with all to resist, maybe things would be different. We in SIX SHORT DAYS will have the result of this gun control push, a limitation of our right to ammunition capacity – for the greater good. What that greater good is I could not tell you, because we all know that these laws are limitations. They have no bearing on the criminal element and how they operate and go about their daily lives, they could not care one wit about a magazine ban or limitation thereof. That leads us to then question why the encroachment on law abiding citizens, why was there an encroachment on law abiding citizens in Germany – why is there one here in New Jermany? Only time will answer these questions, only time will tell what the reasoning for this is. I believe the sole reason for these encroachments, is death by a thousand slices – and the death song for the 2A among liberals, is the total disarmament of a nation. “If I had the votes, Mr. Mrs. America turn in your guns”. They speak about their plans load and proud, they lately do not use false speak to attempt to lead you into a false sense of security – you know what they want, you know what their aim is. Total disarmament – don’t let their nightmare come to fruition. As the date for compliance draws nearer with the December 10th MAG BAN looming over our heads – each patriot must make a decision – a decision that must be made using common sense and a strong will – a decision that one must be able to live with in the coming days and months – until such time as we can continue to fight these onerous laws with growing vigor and resoluteness. Our strength can only come in numbers and vibrant voices of freedom of strength – the time of remaining silent and disconnected are over – we must be unified - to continue the push back – to fight these laws and this speech of disarmament head on. We must not be afraid to use our voice, our strength at the ballot box and to speak out while not being afraid to be branded. Remember one thing, history does repeat, men are evil, there is dreadful evil in the world and we must fight it head on. First they came for the black rifle types, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a black rifle type guy - Then they came for the semi auto pistols and hi cap mags, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a semi auto hi cap mag guy - Then they came for the revolvers, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a revolver shooter- Then they came for me, the shotgun hunter—AND THERE WAS NO ONE LEFT TO SPEAK FOR ME... EDITOR's NOTE: The views expressed by our freelance writer & Patriot, "Kilroy Was Here" are printed as a History Lesson to MAKE READERS THINK! CNJFO, its' officers & staff volunteers do not condone breaking the laws of the state of NJ. We are however providing you with the knowledge you need to make a Patriot's choice. For full details on how to COMPLY, see the ANJRPC bulletin here: https://cdn.ymaws.com/…/e…/complying_with_nj_s_mag_ban-.pdf…

This is just ridiculous. $260 for a M4ish build kit with a complete upper (no assembly required). Only the lower build kit needs to be assembled with your stripped lower. This is a special AR 15 days of Christmas offer from PSA. Some compliance wok will be necessary as the flash hider is a no-go and the stock will have to be pinned. This is one of PSA's Freedom Rifle kits, which are usually rated pretty highly. https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-16-5-56-nato-1-7-m4-nitride-classic-gray-freedom-rifle-kit-5165450284.html

They are not crazy... this is the par for the course SOP for any politician, especially those in the minority. Every year Michael Patrick Carroll introduces pro 2A gun bills in NJ... he KNOWS they are not going to pass, but does so anyway to show to voters that he tries. Same for the Dems. The incoming class of Democrats needs to show to their constituents that "they tried." All of those bills were ready to go a long long time ago and get resubmitted every year.

As I said, I believe that a few drops of epoxy on the release button would do it without wrecking the mag. You wouldnt be able to open it without tools of some sort. I am not going to say that it couldn't be taken apart if need be. Any mag could be opened with the right tools. Intent is the key here. I "intended" to permanently seal my modified 10 rd mag so I epoxied the button so it wont open..I did not intend to try to skirt the law. If they dont like that then lock me the fuck up. Fuck them!

That's because they're soooo much smarter than the rest of us, we can't possibly understand them. Just ask Hawaii Senator Mazie Hirono.

Here's the deal. At some point by replacing parts or altering the mag as sold, you are manufacturing a new magazine. Where that line is in NJ is is not defined, and has no precedent set. As a number of businesses demonstrated when the AWB sunset, if you have a tig welder, some skill with it, and two 10 round magazines, you can convert at lest one of them into a greater than 10 round magazine. Was the magazine not low capacity? Not permanently altered? Or was a new full or extended capacity magazine manufactured out of compliant parts? Under the AWB that was more clear as a less fuzzy line was drawn. Plenty of blocked mas in NJ have shipped with nothing but a rivet.

Gunprodeals.com is offering the non-NJ model this week for $479. I asked if they would honor the same price for the NJ model and they basically told me they would if I could get 4 more people to order. If you have an interest please let me know and i will communicate with them to get it done. Obviously you will have to have it shipped to your FFL for transfer. Let me know, Marc https://www.gunprodeals.com/product-search-results?search_text=Ruger+8502 Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Well, my wife owns a 92FS, has 10 mags also. Of course, they are NOT 10 round mags either. If it weren't for me, she wouldn't even know what the assholes in Trenton did. Hell, how many gun owners in NJ even know about this abortion of a law?

Spring epoxied to magblock wouldn't be permanent but to each their own. Roll pin is good enough for AR stock because nothing in law says permanent for stocks, but it does say permanent for magazines Taking a 15 round magazine and blocking to 10 is different than a manufacturer making a 10 round magazine short spring and riser. NJSP said of hexmags holding 11 rounds its fine because the manufacturer created the magazine to only hold 10.
  33. 1 point
Again, If you need a place to store mags. I will store them for free in a storage unit (outside of NJ). You can get them whenever you want (you pay for shipping). PM me for details.

I put one drop on the button so you "can't" open it without breaking something. I've had a 3 round wooden plug in my shotguns for 50 yrs now and no problems with that.

The mag ban will do nothing in NJ. It's not meant to. Like all other crappy legislation in NJ its only purpose is to try and spread to the rest of the country either by like-minded public masters in other states, or when the infected former NJ residents relocate. The exodus out of NJ may in fact be by design to spread the virus. As Anthony Colandro always says, "What happens in NJ doesn't stay in NJ."

That sounds good in theory, but hasn't that been the strategy the last few election cycles? Has it worked? The definition of Insanity, doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result. I know some people think it's "tin foil" territory, but if they open their eyes, we're PAST the point of the Ballot box to make necessary changes. We're at the point of Ammo boxes to make shit happen.

This would be an excellent class to take. A lot of ppl get too caught up in only booking with the"famous" trainers like Vicker's, Pat Mac, etc. Good trainers but there are plenty of other great ones out there and Micky is one of them. The class is in Great Meadows, NJ. Believe it's right off route 57 just west of Hackettstown. You'll need a pistol, holster, multiple mags, couple mag carriers, and 750rds minimum. I highly suggest looking into it. www.carrytrainer.com is their website and his Instagram (CarryTrainer) has very good content on it if you wanna check it out.
