6 pointsShould people get training? Yes Should it be a requirement? No

3 pointsI instructed my wife on how to use both the portable generator, and the snowblower, should either be needed when I'm out of town. She instructed me that should either be needed when I'm out of town, she's going to a hotel.

3 pointsNo. He wants to stay at his bil’s house with the pistols. Thats not an exempt location. You can only travel to and from exempt locations with your pistol. Your bil’s house is none of the such

2 pointsIf you fill the hollow points with bacon grease, you're doing double duty: Making them NOT hollow-pointed anymore and Making them much more effective on that certain portion of society who long to meet their 72 virgins.

2 pointsI don't often like what you like, but when I do... That's the nicest looking one of these abominations I've seen so far. I'd consider owning that.

1 pointI picked up a CZ75 this week and I’m thinking of heading to TTC tomorrow afternoon/ evening to see how she shoots. Anyone up for a range meet up?

1 pointIf you're coming in before 5pm or so you should be fine. It doesn't start to get nasty until later.

1 pointNo requirement for a Constitutional right. That's a very slippery slope. I avoid the range Friday nights, Saturday and Sundays when possible.

1 pointI have a 3(?) ft chest. It's way too small for my needs but it won't die. So I'll live with it until it does. Next one it will an upright. While they tend not to be as efficient as the chest, it sucks after a while to be digging stuff from the bottom.

1 pointToo many, but they rarely involve taking the life of an innocent stranger. If you're going to be killed in a murder/suicide, you'll almost certainly be taken out by a pissed-off family member, ex-lover, or maybe an ex-employee. So don't take any of them to the range.

1 pointThis is overboard but I wanted to tinker with something and ended up making these two cases. Keeps things low profile.

1 pointI invested in a generator several years ago, prior to Sandy. Other than running it for PM purposes, I’ve never had to use it. I’d rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
-
1 pointUnfortunately, there seems to be no other solution at this point. Sucks for me to have to pack up and sell the house, but these idiots are like the Walking Dead shambling around.

1 point#1 reason for failed small engines? No oil. This is why almost everything you buy these days is pre-filled with oil. Either the factory does it or the store does it. I have a friend who has had half a dozen generators over the past 10 years. He buys before a big storm, doesn't lose power, returns generator. He lives in NC now, he bought one for Florence a few months back. Didn't lose power. Returned it. That next storm that came through? He didn't bother buying a generator. Lost power for almost 3 days. Couldn't find a generator at any price. The cheap #$%^ was without power for almost 3 days!!! LOL.

1 pointBond has been around for nearly 70 years in books, nearly 60 in the movies, and about 25 movies. John Wick has some catching up to do.

1 pointWhen we moved into our house 26 years ago, I built a wood shed from pressure treaded wood for the frame and plywood sheathed roof. On the inside I nailed chicken wire tight all the way up to the roof. The outside is vinyl siding with a 3 tab shingle roof. No problems with insects. Every year I fill it up in the summer, it holds about 2 1/2 cords of wood. The first year I stacked the wood until you could not fit another piece in it. When it came time to burn in the winter, at first I thought someone hopped my fence and was stealing wood. Then I realized it had shrunk after the moisture left the wood. It was at least 1' lower in height than when I first stacked it. No tarps to move, just fill the wheel barrow and burn.

1 pointSeriously, I'd suggest you take off your rose colored glasses. Maybe in the Western side of the state, it might be like that. The state is turning "Bluer" each year. Don't believe me? How did you end up with a Democrat for Governor, if the state is so pro 2A? You also had McAuliffe before him.

1 pointI really like this one: Remington version but I’m sure you could do it with a Mossberg. This is the only one I’ve seen that makes me want one.... Its a clone (plus side-saddle) of the Witness Protection Shotgun the US Marshall’s carried back in the day. https://www.tactical-life.com/firearms/wilson-witness-protection-870/

1 pointYou claim none of us will receive an 18 month jail sentence for possessing a 15 round mag yet that is precisely the purpose of the legislation. Murphy and his fellow totalitarians in the NJ legislature and judiciary want nothing less than eradication of legal gun ownership in this state. If that means throwing every gun owner in jail for spurious, unconstitutional crimes then so be it. It is settled law in NJ that "When dealing with guns, the citizen acts at his peril". So yeah, perhaps some of us would get off with a fine and no jail time (and loss of the right to ever own a firearm again), but there's no guarantee and that's precisely the point. For someone whose dealings with law enforcement never extended beyond a speeding ticket, the prospect of a felony prosecution, possible jail time, and the loss of their constitutional rights - not to mention the potential deleterious effect on their future employment prospects - is a massive incentive to get on the first train out of here. You categorize as imbeciles those who believe the intent of this legislation is to "nail unsuspecting gun owners". Given the public record of NJ courts and the legislature, it's the imbecile who believes otherwise.
