My dear young man, you opened your first post by saying you liked to "debate"... since then, you've hung out almost exclusively on an unmoderated forum, where you've employed a "hit and run" posting style that IMO is designed to inflame. Listen, honestly... I hope your event is a great time... I applaud that you're arranging an outing. But as someone who's read all of your posts, I would seriously recommend you stop wagging your finger sanctimoniously at people who you've enjoyed stirring up for so many months. Agree 100 percent. This is a steady chipping away of 2A rights. Honestly? Though I'm pro-2A, I am actually as (or even MORE) concerned by other trends... like the attacks on free speech, as seen on campuses - through the attempt to define any broad idea that activists don't like as "hate speech." Campuses used to fight FOR free speech, not against it. So, when I look at this "roundtable" - though I'm outraged at the stupidity and ineffectiveness of the proposals themselves, I'm actually more concerned about the lack of representation for MY point of view. Murphy is blatantly ignoring a big chunk of his constituents... we have no "voice" in the halls of this government. That's a problem across the board and that's why he's been able to push through not only stupid gun laws, but frivolous taxes... and why he keeps kowtowing to public unions... because he has no angry voters at his closed, "by invitation only" events. He's acting despicably, like a despot. This is happening too much - not just in NJ, but in the country at-large. It's a definite erosion of individual freedoms - speech, thought, RKBA, religion, privacy - all under a slow-rolling incremental attack from an increasingly dogmatic leftist movement that simply crushes opposing views. Case in point, tennis star Martina Navritalova (an icon of the LGBT movement), was recently THROWN OFF a non-profit board because she dared to challenge the new status quo and had the temerity to say that she believed transgender "women" athletes were "cheating". Off with her head! Not allowed. There is such craziness on the left right now. I can only hope voters see how uber-controlling this is... and that they reflexively pull away from it. The Dems need to tack back towards moderation.

Hey guys, just FYI... I did have contact with folks at the range and having discussions on this topic... (range bag inspections). Will also be making a trip down. Their focus is on safety which I get... but perhaps there needs a balance. Don't recall right at the moment, but this was not supposed to be a full inspection or checking out mags, etc... will chime in in a bit.

I finally just called and shed Xfinity services even if there wasn’t a deal. Went from TV/Phone/Internet to just Internet with the same bandwidth. Bill went from $289 to $108.

I took a 2 hour drive north up to the Tampa Florida fair. Before I left I checked the Fair web page for their policy on CC. I found very little. After we parked the car I was standing at the main entrance ticket booth and noticed metal detectors and a few deputies. I walked up and asked if concealed weapons were permitted on the fair grounds. He asked if I had one. I told him I did and he asked for my CWFL. He got on his radio and ran the number. It came back with my full name and he said follow me around the line and the metal detectors. He than said have a nice day. I waited for my wife and noticed other deputies escorting others around the line as well. Very professional law enforcement agency.

Not to mention you're not in the range yet, so these firearms being handled are not pointing downrange, they are pointing at sheetrock walls that have people on the other side. But they say this is about safety. Yeah, right.

treat 99% of LE with respect and follow the rules and you won't have a problem. This is pretty much the rule for most life with most people and things
