This calls for extreme measures. Hire someone to break into your house, tie up your wife, threaten to kill her, and steal something. Then let us know how she feels. Just kidding of course.

These videos illustrating the differences between AR and AK guys crack me up. I would like to see some videos with Free vs Slave states.

Had a great time seeing Tony, Max and a lot of the old timers tonight. So many nice guns brought tonight! Looking forward to next month.

Correct. Replacementa wear out, and there are only so many times you can get a new replacement, because of how much the “pocket” in the bone (where the replacement is inserted) increases in size and depth each time new hardware is put in.
  5. 2 points
Technically nothing you do is permanent. Knee replacement for example tends to last about ten years. Best way to think about it is that stem cells will make that part younger than it was, but it'll then still age from there.

May 07 2019 DISTRIBUTED for Conference of 5/23/2019. https://www.supremecourt.gov/search.aspx?filename=/docket/docketfiles/html/public/18-824.html So now we have an actual date for conference, that's a Thursday so the following Friday or Monday for a yes/no. I'm confident that either NYC and/or our NJ case will make a substantial difference. We should have a solid 4 to vote it out of conference to be heard. Don't need a majority as has been stated prior. Good news.

In theory it is permanent. The idea is that PRP and stem cell treatments allow the tissue to heal & rebuild. So it doesn't make sense as to how it would be temporary. But there aren't really any studies looking at patients over 20/30/40 years and their outcomes, so these are assumptions. I had the most primitive form of these treatments, called prolotherapy, where they inject a solution that causes significant but acute inflammation a number of times every 2-4 weeks for 6+ sessions. The idea is that it kickstarts the healing process, because inflammation is always the first step of healing. I got it done at Dr. Edward Magaziner in North Brunswick for my wrists for a laxity issue (think: picking up a gallon of milk and having the joints in your wrist crunch and move out of place) back in 2011, in conjuction with rest/bracing, and my wrists have been quite normal ever since. They never hurt, and they only experience weird things like clunking when I move them around at their end-range of flexibility. My wrists aren't 100% normal, but they're fine with both everyday life and strength training.

I don't have a Henry, but I do know about them and I've wondered the same thing myself. I'm thinking of Magpul's exit from Colorado for example. I saw this article today that explains why. It also pointed out that Henry is in Wisconsin too, which I didn't know. There's also a substantial conversation with the owner, Anthony Imperato.

It seems that I have been buying revolvers at a prodigious rate. At this point I won,t be able to pick-up my latest acquisition until the first week in July. Even though it's not in hand yet, I thought I'd share it with you... It is a full custom S&W 65-5 with a 3" barrel. It was done by Mike LaRocca of LGW (LaRocca Gun Works) out of Worcester, MA. Mike was Frank Pachmayr's lead gunsmith for years and, literally, wrote the book on building Combat .45's. He went out on his own in the mid-80's and this is an example of his work. It includes a complete refinish with certain parts accented in high polish; A bobbed hammer; A radiused and smoothed trigger; A recontour of the front sight and an anti-glare treatment on the barrel rib; A full action job; A "melted" cylinder release and other enhancements. Even the base gun is a rather unique piece. I believe that this started life as a Lady Smith, because they were the only fixed sight, K-frame .357 Mag with a 3" barrel and an ejector rod housing. The "Lady Smith" moniker was polished off during the refinish. Three inch K-frames are among the most desirable carry revolvers extant, because the slightly longer barrel allows for a full-length ejector rod to fully extract the long .357 cases and the K-frame gives you 6-shot capability. Watch for my post in this section during the first week of June. I'll be featuring some rather unique S&W revolvers. Adios, Pizza Bob

I specifically heard Allen Gottleib, head of the Second Amendment Foundation, last year state to the effect “if there aren’t 5 votes to pass it, there won’t be 4 to hear it”. I believe that was on an episode of the American Armed Radio podcast, where he makes frequent appearances.

Been there done that. Still have my guns in the house. My wife knows better than to try and order me to do anything, and I don't order her to do anything. If she wants me to do somerhing, she either will rationally explain why, or I don't do it. The odds of a kid being injurred by a firearm almost negligible compared to other household threats. Electricy, chemicals, tools, corners of furniture etc. Gun locked in safe. Out of sight out of mind until needed.

When you’re dealing with a woman... in this case, a pregnant woman. All rationale, logic and reasoning are as realistic as a unicorn being ridden by Helen Keller and while shooting a Phaser Rifle while battling Klingons and Dragons while trying to get to Never Never Land and Mordor so you can sit on the Iron Throne in King’s Landing

I found a link to this concealed wall cabinet in a woodworking magazine. It's a clever design; build the frame, then configure the interior how you see fit. Downloading the plans requires registration, but is free. Slide away hideaway mirror

WIthout Reading the link and knowing a little about Henry, I would say its the workers. His dad was big on family and there back ground hows they would have loyalty to his employees / family.

Don't forget this is more than a gun issue. I think the SCOTUS will want to send a message to the circuit courts.

Agree that there are likely 4 votes. However, I do not think the 4 will vote to grant cert. unless they are highly confident that the Chief will join them in an opinion on the merits. Otherwise, they run the risk of a 5-4 decision against public carry if Roberts votes with the liberals.

Too busy shooting, not enough time for pics. Big thanks to Tony @GSSC for hosting us and Maks for setting it up, always good to meet more NJGF peeps in person. Nice relaxed range session with lots of gun-swapping going on. Brought a newbie friend for his ~3rd time shooting, thanks for helping him with handgun technique Maks. He wants to get his FID and some permits. FYI, you can sign the recall Murphy petition at GSSC - they have forms for most NJ counties ready. Don’t need a notary present, you just need to be a registered voter and provide your name and address and sign/date it. Me and my friend signed it.

#43 2A COMMUNITY OUTREACH AT THE FIRST ABSECON OUTDOOR SPORTSMAN SHOW, ABSECON, NJ 10 GAUGE ROARS AT ABSECON NJ SPORTSMAN SHOW! PUBLIC FIRES BLANKS & LEARNS SOME 2A HISTORY! by Black Wire Media Sunday May 5, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us Not even a downpour could stop the public from standing in line yesterday to fire a black powder blank at the first-ever Absecon Outdoor Sportsman Show at Green Acres Park in Absecon, NJ. Saturday's rain or shine event, organized by its' Chairwoman Sandy Hickerson, a CNJFO member, illustrates CNJFO's commitment to bring firearms education & community outreach to the southern parts of NJ. Absecon is off GSP exit 41, just 4 miles from the AC Expressway. Our Treasurer, Jack Pyle, sold tickets to fire the muzzleloader, swag items, memberships & apparel and chatted about all things 2A. CNJFO Vice President David "Rosey" Rosenthal mentored the public in some Living History through the use of his 10 ga. double barrel muzzleloader. Ticket purchasers received an expert "hands-on" lesson in proper loading & firing a reproduction smoothbore percussion "front-stuffer" from circa 1830. All equipment & materials were supplied by the Coalition. Rosenthal had the pleasure of mentoring the Mayor of Absecon, NJ, Kim Horton, in how to pour EXPLOSIVES (black powder) and ignite them via his 10 ga. SxS muzzleloading scattergun. Mayor Horton measured & poured 50 grains of black powder, inserted a wad and used a range rod to seat it to provide pressure for the charge, donned eyes & ears and fired our first BLANK charge of the day (see video) ceremoniously opening our booth! Approximately 100 members of the public from age 5 to 75 joined-in on the fun, each receiving Rosenthal's hands-on lesson in survival mid-nineteenth century style, sans refrigeration, where harvesting game almost daily kept your family ALIVE! Many did so during several cloudbursts throughout the day, loading under the protection of our pop-up. The Coalition's mission is to educate NJ residents about their 2nd Amendment heritage, the rights we've all but lost in NJ, provide meaningful analysis of current events regarding firearms legislation both at the state Capitol & Washington, D.C., and to provide resources to protect the 2nd Amendment. All US tax payers get the federal deduction for gifting the Coalition, as we are a tax-exempt 501(c)3 non-profit. Remember, what happens in Jersey DOESN'T STAY IN JERSEY, so helping us fight to retain our rights helps everyone in all 50 states! Here's where to help: www.cnjfo.com/Donate

Yeah, wish I had taken some pics of the guns but was enjoying the company and shooting too much. Big thanks to all the guys for sharing their guns. I really liked the new Thompson 10-22 clone and M&P Shield. I had a M&P 40 when they first came out and was not a fan and moved on to my XD Tactical 9mm which is my go to gun. The new shield was fun to shoot and very comfortable. Dammit, I hate these Greet & Shoots! Now I want to go get some permits and buy some new toys :). I was planning on getting another upper for my AR build (but how many black rifles does a guy really need??) Maybe a .357 wheel gun? Haha!

Paramus PD - applied for 3x P2P: Applied online 4/26 Both References replied 4/26 Background Check completed 5/4 Application Approval email received 5/7 Now waiting for the PD to call me so I can pick up the permits. The "old fashioned" way it would take 60-90 days through the whole process. The mental health form was usually the hold up.

Sure, there are some fine commercial options out there. But the link I posted would give one an excuse to go play in the shop. And an excuse to buy a good tablesaw, if not already equipped.

I want sweeping legislation to be passed for all politicians. All are mandated to take a class on the Constitution for starts. All have term limits and a cap on the money that they can make while in office and for the following 10 years once they are out of office. And., if they break their required oaths, they are subject to a felony charge. I am sure I can come up with more, but these will do for a start. Oh, and all of them need to take a course in economics, and specifically in capitalism. And, lastly, they all have to house undocumented workers and repeat offenders at their residence for at least part of each week. Oh, and while they are in office they are not allowed to own any firearms and must sell or store them at a shooting range.
