When I take a new shooter to the range the first time they shoot anything more than a 22 I have them do the "Barney Fife Drill". Load one round and fire. See how they control the firearm and handle the recoil.

I've been around guns my whole life, I've lived in both PA and NJ over the years. Been reading here for a while finally decided to sign up. I'm recently retired and looking to hopefully have more time to enjoy shooting again. I mostly just collect and target shoot but did do some hunting when I lived in PA years ago.

I must have failed civics because that doesn't look like any official US flag I've ever seen.

Seeding can't hurt. If the doggie didn't go full chemical warfare, some of the grass will recover on it's own but there will be dead spots where ammonia is concentrated. Areas that are beaten down from foot (and paw) traffic will probably come back if the root system is healthy. Don't just throw the seed on top, use a steel rake and work it into the soil. The trick to good germination is soil contact and moisture. I recommend programmable sprinkler timers for things like this. Set it up to water 10 minutes every hour.

So it's around midnight and four guys with handguns kick in the front door of your trailer home. You are back in the bedroom. Here's what happens next.

Rather late; but, now ready to respond to inquiries. I should have caught an attitude. Too old and no longer in the mood for any type of confrontation. They did not know another dash cam was running where you can hear that I was cool as a cucumber. The stun gun charge went to the Morris County Superior Court. The day I appeared, I was informed it was just dismissed & transferred back to Boonton. Boonton's court is in Parsippany. Afterwards, I received a letter or summons specifying the stun gun charge is 'downgraded' to disorderly conduct. With some controversy in the court, the costly case is dismissed. Still pondering on whether I should learn how to shoot a gun.

I write on every liberal forum No one is trying to take your abortions away. We just want common sense abortion laws. Who's not for common sense laws if it saves one child's life? No one needs an assault abortion.

There's been 7 years of character development. It's time for some shit to get DONE. I will offer the counter point. The shitty writing has been failing to resolve or even advance a shit tone of critical story arcs, leaving us to finish them all in the last season. If we had had actual progress and character resolve some arcs, we could have cycled osme of them out and maybe had more seasons. but no. GRRM's response is that same shitty attitude he takes to writing them. He'd like to have forever. Well Mr' neck bead, your cast has hit to move on to, and the grim reaper isn't going to wait until you are happy with it either.

I have the Evo rifle in Fl. I think the ergonomics and the trigger on the Scorpion sucks even with the HB spring kit modification and/or shoe modification. The ergonomics are not the best on the pistol grip or on the design of the safety levers. Fortunately, there are good aftermarket replacements. The standard CZ mags also suck, because the plastic feed lips break now there are lots of better aftermarket mag options--magpul, palmetto state armory etc. Both of these type mags are far better than the CZ mags. However, what pisses me off is that you should not have to spend more money on top of the price to achieve a good trigger, better ergonomics and a decent quality mags. The sling attachment point on the rile did not accommodate a circular push in sling connector and only an HB type connector, so I added the aftermarket fix for that. I am planning on doing the ShootingSight just released new two stage trigger for the Scorpion. It is available as a parts kit or drop in assembly. If the trigger on the micro is the same as on the rifle or basic pistol, it has to go. I also think that both the Scorpion rifle, pistol and Evo are overpriced for what you get. The rifle is very accurate, so that is a big positive. All being said, inspite of the extra money I spent on it, I would not sell it. The recently released Gen 2 Palmetto State Armory AK-V pistol, which I keep in Fl is in my opinion a much better option for about 1/3 less on the price.

Are you sharpening the blades from the bottom (flat side) of the blade? Blades that are sharpened on both sides (like a kitchen knife) will dull faster. It's a bad, bad, BAD shortcut. Not only that, but you cannot possibly ensure the blades are well balanced. Unbalanced blades cause excess vibration and shorten the life of a mower. The only way to properly balance the blades is to take them off the deck. Blades should be sharpened at least twice a year. A dull blade will make grass shorter, but it isn't exactly cutting it. It's more like ripping it to shreds. If your lawn looks brown a day or two after you mow, your blades are dull. Not only does it look terrible, but you are stressing the plant and also exposing your lawn to risk of fungal disease. Dull blades can also rip the grass (roots and all) right out of the soil. A nice clean cut heals, whereas a ragged smashed blade of grass may not recover. Over time, dull blades just make the situation worse with every cut. I'm not saying you need razor sharp blades all the time, but there is a threshold. If your lawn is small, then the interval between sharpening is longer, you can get away with sharpening only 2x every year. If you have a 1/2 acre or more, then maybe every 6th cut check the blades. They should be at least as sharp as a butter knife. Blades should be sharpened to a 45 degree angle, only on one side. The sharper the blade, the more healthy your lawn will be. Your grass will be spending it's energy on growing instead of healing and fighting off infections. Yes, lawns can get sick too.

There may not be a need to re-write anything. If SCOTUS says NJ cannot ask for a need and/or self defense is a justifiable need, then you march into your PD and submit a letter of need with "self defense" as the reason and reference USA No. 18-824

I recently made a purchase at Heritage Guild Rahway and then a few weeks later Tier 1 for an FFL transfer and can't say enough good things about both of them We who live in Central/North Jersey don't have lots of great choices and these two establishments, IMO are first rate Customer service, selection and even prices at Heritage Guild get better by the day and Tier 1 is fantastic for gunsmithing and FFL transfer- you have to check him out!

Wrong You don't support politicians who don't support you. Benchmade decided to support anti gun politicians and now they are being called out. Knife laws, bullshit.

Glock 22 is actually a 40 S&W Glock 25 is actually a 380 acp Glock 38 is actually a 45 GAP Glock 40 is actually a 10mm Glock 45 is actually a 9mm Okay, let's be serious. It's a gun nobody asked for and nobody wants. Now, had they mated a G19 frame on a G26 slide then we can talk.

It's great, just out of place. Maybe if they knocked down the old building right behind it, it would look better.
